You're on the forums, which is great for "chats" when you don't mind reading and replying and waiting for replies.
If you are looking for live chats, there is a separate part of the site for that, I don't use it, so can't really tell you much about it other than that it's there. But there are several users here who can help with that info if you are interested.
You may have noticed that your introduction post here took time to post. That will happen for all NEW post (regardless of what forum you post in), they are approved before being made public. However, you can reply to any already active thread and the reply will post right away.
However you choose to use the site, may you enjoy your time here.
