Help me to believe

I’m hoping that some of you folks can help me to believe in God again. I truly want to. I’m just struggling with it and I can’t lie to myself and tell myself I do without a doubt, but I really don’t feel it deeply and I can’t rely on it to guide me.
Can anyone share anything with me to help me to believe? To help me feel God’s presence? Thank you

Well I acknowledge that there are times when I doubt God. The feelings disappear and then I wonder where He is.

Scripture says that He never leaves nor forsakes you. So it's about resting in God.. resting in His assurance. Not relying on emotions.

It can get really harrowing in the walk with God..the soul seems to scream sometimes.

It can feel like God is not there..but does that mean He isn't?

That’s nonsense. We’re our brother’s keeper and called to share our testimonies and keep lifted in prayer those who are weak in faith.

Zachary, read the gospels and remember Jesus’ words where He told people who doubted His divinity to ponder the fact that He performed miracles that were witnessed by the multitudes. I’m praying for you brother as are many CC members.

One day a man came to Jesus desperate, he had been to all the apostles and they couldn't help him.

Found precisely in Mark 9:14-29, the problem was the apostles didn’t have strong enough faith to help that man.

Many CC members do have strong enough faith to help Zachary and that’s why our prayers are with him and his faith will be restored.

Before I was saved I would ask myself questions.
Am I a christian?
I don’t steal or harm anyone or lie.
I didn’t know at the time where any particular verses were in the Bible, but somehow God showed me this verse,
Isaiah 64:6 KJV
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Deep down I was unhappy, which made me to question my existence.
Again God showed me another verse,
Revelation 4:11 KJV
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Some years later, God overturned my life, it was like a long bad dream.
I was saved but,
I spent 7 miserable years outside of the Will of God because of circumstances.
God used his creation to soften my heart.
I was very angry and confused.
I began to say, why?
God posted me in a remote area, where I was surrounded by nature at its best.
The most beautiful birds, came so close to me. If you can imagine the most beautiful orange wild fox with black trimmings and white sox decided to be friendly.
I was standing in the paddock admiring the scenery and turned to find the fox, seated and looking at me, at his left side behind was the cow standing there looking at me. I was immediately stunned, as this was against nature, a cow will always chase a fox away.

What I find to be very effective is to speak to God. Tell him everything that is on your heart and mind.
And ask questions.
We cannot put conditions on God.
God allows these trials to bring us into a “large place.”
Psalm 118:5 KJV
I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.

there is no such thing as crying to the Lord and He ignore our cry ... you can't do it for him but he must receive help from the Lord.

I gave him the best advice ever ... call upon the Lord He'll answer you.

God is waiting for you to take the first step of faith. He is not going to pull rabbits out of a hat for you, but I will pray for you.

Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Joshua 24:15

Have you looked into miracles since the time of Jesus until now? For me, they’re my favorite part of my faith because you get to see amazing things which reveal God’s glory and that we are not alone here.

If you have no faith after watching the following video, read the gospel of John KJV Bible. Before you read a chapter or two every day, sincerely ask God to help you understand His Word and to speak to you. You will likely receive supernatural instructions concerning 3 Divinely revealed truths. Write them down for future reference to recall after they are forgotten. The front cover is a good place.

You may also see circumstances in your life that are not coincidental, but rather God's way of getting your attention. When that happens, you can usually chalk that up to His grace/ kindness towards us undeserving sinners. Let Him know that you recognize Him at those times in humble gratitude.
Remember that the presidents and kings of this earth want nothing to do with you. How much more wonderful to have the Almighty Creator of the universe take heed to your request.

Do you see God gifting him "belief" while he takes no steps based upon the prayers of others?

the devil is influencing you to disbelieve. he doesn't want anyone choosing God. & he'll stay there trying to forever convince you there's no God. become a born again Christian & you're all set. Proclaim jesus Christ as your personal savior. but also believe in God & the Holy Spirit. all 3 believe in. Romans 10:9 says, "that if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall BELIEVE IN THY HEART that God hath raised from the dead, thou shall be saved"! get on your knees & say the sinners prayer. when anyone is born again, you can cast out all demonic behavior in the name of Jesus. every time you feel you can't believe, its the devil coning you. recognize this immediately & say, "in the name of Jesus, devil, you and all your about get out"!! he has to flee- James 4'7- "submit yourselves to God, RESIST the devil and HE WILL FLEE from you"!!!!!!! don't FIGHT the devil, RESIST him.
