Hello! My name is Anthony. I am a a Christian husband and father. I have been struggling with my marriage. I often feel taken advantage of by my family and we've sat an old talked 1000 times it seems. It doesn't matter if I ask nicely or become demanding, I face the same results. Things improve for a bit then go back to a total lack of respect and appreciation. My wife and kids all do the care minimum and I'm tired of feeling like I have to do everything. I just want like I have a partner that has my back and I don't. It's frustrating and lonely.
 
Hi AB121970, glad the Lord led you to CC, welcome! Not knowing all the details, it sounds like you are the floor mat to your family. You need not to be afraid to stand up for yourself and act like head of the household. Speak your mind when someone is rude or taking advantage....as calm as you can. Get some counseling if you can. Ask for God's strength and wisdom to be the husband and dad you should be. God bless & guide you through this, IJNA🙏✝
