Just a little bit about me. I am retired, have studied the bible for over 40 yrs. I refer to myself as a Natsarim. Natsarim is a Hebrew word that means truth seeker. I don't follow any denomination or mainstream church teaching. Rather than using the word jesus, I prefer the word Yasha which is Hebrew and means saviour. If you have questions about my belief, just ask.

Hello to you. There are three words in Hebrew that mean savior.
Yasha; Strong’s concordance #3467 yaw-shah’ Hebrew [Name of the Son of Yah]. It means: wide or free, to be open, avenging, defend, deliver {-er}, save[-iour], help, preserve, rescue, to be safe, get victory and bring {having} salvation, {masculine form of savior} NOTE: only Hebrew word that means both “Savior, and Deliverer”.

Hello Clamatoe, welcome to CC. I, too have studied God's word for many years and also prefer to be called a Natsarim, although I don't make it an issue. I think there are others here too, but maybe just a little further back in the closet. I recently read an article (still looking for it) that noted an increase in the use of Yeshua when referring to our savior. Maybe there is still hope!

Enjoy the site but don't expect too much.

The Natsarim, as spoken of by the Prophets (Old Testament) and in the Brit Hadasaha (New Testament). The first followers of Yasha were known of as a sect called the Natsarim. They were not accepted by the teachers of Judaism nor the early Christian church.

Acts 11:25-26: Then Barnah went to Tarsos to seek Sha’ul, and having found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came to be that for an entire year they came together in the assembly and taught large numbers. And the taught ones were called ‘Natsarim’ first in Antioch.

Act 24:5-6: “For having found this man a plague, who stirs up dissension among all the Yahuḏim throughout the world and a ringleader of the sect of the Natsarim, who also tried to profane the set-apart Place and whom we seized and wished to judge him according to our law,”

1 Peter 4:16: But if one suffers being Natsarim, let him not be ashamed, but let him esteem Elohim in this matter.

The Natsarim were known to follow The Way and were easily identified due to their use of the Name. The name of our Elohim was outlawed and not to be used by those practicing Judaism. The Natsarim used His name regularly as did Yasha. They also did not teach the traditions of Judaism, referred to as the traditions of men. For these reasons the religious leaders of the Jews had Yasha put to death on the cross. Little did they know this was all to fulfill prophecy.

The Natsarim follow the Torah of Yah and accept the salvation granted by the sacrifice of Yasha. The Torah of Yah did not pass way with the death of Yasha. The Torah is eternal and was followed perfectly by Yasha; making him the perfect sinless sacrifice for us. Now the Natsarim are coming forward again to guard The Way of Yahuah and His son Yasha ha Mashiach.

Revelation 12:17: And the dragon was enraged with the woman and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of Yasha ha Mashiach.
