I'm a retired English teacher/Chaplain/Editor living in Kentucky now. Have worn several hats. Now I enjoy working with refugees at my church, sewing, gardening, and Bible study. I rescue dogs and recently rescued a tiny bird that got smashed to the ground in a storm. Thought it was a sparrow, but I fed it 28 times a day and it grew and GREW. It is a robin! She is happy and healthy and so much FUN. She "rules the roost" here and my dogs are completely calm and gentle with her.
