Hi I'm Aster, I'm new here and I'm 14, I started attending church last year around February I haven't been able to go recently but I like the people at the church, they always feel so welcoming, I don't really believe in the bible but I see church as more of a book club in a way. My personal "religious" belief is that there's a god (or most likely multiple gods) but I don't think much into religion or what exact gods I currently believe in (I don't know exactly what my beliefs would be called), I grew up Christian, then Jewish, then whatever my mom is following now but I like going to a Christian Baptist church the most since I already know everyone (my pastor recently died which was tragic but I was glad to see a few people from church again since it'd been months since I'd seen them) I think my introduction (my name, my age, and my beliefs) was pretty decent, I hope I can become friends with some of you and I'm glad to be here.

Hello Aster, welcome to CC. I pray you find much comfort here. I am a year or two older than you. I listened to the songs you posted but my old ears have trouble hearing your music. My faith and beliefs at 14 were much different than my faith now, it's a life long process for most of us as we begin to find truth.

Be patient and know that you do have a Savior who knows you, loves you and is walking beside you even now.

Hello AsterFlowerzzz, my name is Walter my wife's name is Deborah we call her Debbie, and you are welcome here with us, glad to meet you, but about religion, after your schooling, I suggest that you learn about our Lord Jesus Christ. I think it is a good start getting to know about Him.

Having a personal relationship with Him is the most important thing for all of us, I'm in my 70s but I started out going to a Baptist Church with my parents.

Love always, Walter

(I don't know exactly what my beliefs would be called)
In Christianity, you fall into the classification of "lost." I am glad you enjoy your church fellowship...
and understand about not believing the Bible, since I did not for the majority of my life before my
conversion. Do you find any of the stories interesting? Do you have any feelings toward Jesus?

Welcome to CC, Aster. People who walk with Jesus know who they are, what they are, and where they are going. Invite Him into your heart today and He will show you many things, including who and what you are.

Revelation 3:20
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Hello Aster, quick note, kiddo...I wanted to suggest a few books to you to help you on your journey; these are things that will really build your faith and help you understand the perfection of the Bible. Some of these are really great, especially because you have a Jewish background (to some degree). Here are some interesting resources. BOOKS: They Thought For Themselves: Ten Amazing Jews by Sid Roth, A Trip Into The Supernatural by Roger Morneau, My Descent Into Death by Howard Storm. **Ask your parents to review the last book - it's a bit strong. It's about a man who did not believe in God at all; he was an atheist. Through a near-death experience, he came to know the Truth about Christ. Today, he is actually a pastor. Pretty intense story. VIDEOS to watch are the story of JOSIAH LAMB, who was 12 years old when he was saved by angels (he gives his testimony on YouTube, I believe it was on CBN). Another great testimony is BRUCE VAN NATTA, who was crushed by a truck and not expected to live but was saved by angels. (He also gives his testimony on YouTube, CBN.) Many blessings on your journey in Christ Jesus! You are truly blessed to have Him in your life at such a young age. Make time to get to know Jesus and The Word. You will be amazed and blessed!!
