Does England Have the Best Food?

Hope you like ethnic jokes.
Some of my favorite are Canadian, but England is growing on me.
I posted a thread recently based on the video above. Thank you for the reminder that with all the crazy things in the world, British need some humor too.

BTW, even though I'm American, I speak and read English fluently. That's how much I think about you guys. 🤜💥🤛
I can assure you that the woman in the video does not speak on behalf of the English people! (Although crisps in a sandwich does give a satisfying crunch 😅)
My cousin recently married a Canadian who now lives in the UK and she is now obsessed with Yorkshire puddings and custard (not eaten together).
I’m impressed with your commitment to the British people, learning a foreign language sure is tough 😜😂

Hi EnglishElm glad you are joining us, welcome to CC! Most of my favorite shows are from the UK and I hope they stop being too nice to sects who will want to take over. Anyway have a wonderful New Year, God bless you and your endeavors✨
Thanks for the lovely welcome! God bless you ☺️

I’m probably quite sheltered as I live in an area with lots of little villages where the church is still a central point and a key role in the community. I can still feel Jesus’ presence which is very reassuring! There is still hope for people in the UK to rediscover Christ
Greetings fellow 'prodical'. Based upon my research and some opinion, when voices in the know say, 'Creeping Islam', the Christian's speech is sound. But an Islamist heart (fruits) only concentrates on the pace, SLOW. They'll appear and endure till tolerance is achieved and known enough to vie for a spot in community politic.

What happened? Was it because Christian kindness was overplayed when the 2Corinthians 10:5 should have outpaced the 'creep' by going public? Monuments should start springing up all over, Starting with Leviticus 25:19. The Ten Commandments and it's New Testament fulfillment Matt 22:37-40. Glory to God!

My favourite place as a child was Wendover. I went there in 2016. The main street has hardly changed from what I remember. I used to take the dog to the woods a lot. I came across a movie or TV scene being filmed. My guess would be Robin Hood. We were there only 9 months. I understand that now it is fairly upmarket.

I love Wendover woods, it’s only about half an hours drive from where I live. I haven’t been in a while but I think you’ve just given me inspiration for my weekend plans! It feels so peaceful in the woods, one of my favourite places to feel close to God

Luke 15:3-7
New International Version

3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

One of my favourite verses, it gives me a lot of comfort. Thanks for sharing.
