Hello friends! Here to tell you that my thoughts, as well as my prayers, are very often with you - the people from over the ocean. What's happening in the USA at the moment , and I am not referring to the elections, is so singular that I entertain little doubt about its entering the human history of accomplishments. It is enormously satisfying to observe the coming to of a people who has been asleep!

I myself am in a similar situation, and I've found out from experience that the best I can do when undergoing a hardship is to concentrate into helping someone else, so even if I can't physically influence what's happening over there, I can at least do so through my words and intentions.

Kudos for your bravery!

Welcome, MichaelT!

I'm wondering, what are you referring to?
Hey there! It would be hard to put in a few words without risking the conspiracy theorist tag :) I'd say that the unique system upon which USA was built and maintained by other brave people has a few weaknesses which I am sure were recognized at the time, among them that "root of all evils" - excessive love of money. No wonder the dollar has that peculiar motto - "In God we trust" - a good reminder, imo.

Anyway, I admit to possible overdramatization, even if I tried to allow for things being overexaggerated because of the upcoming elections. Keyword "over" :))

Michael do you know what your Name means?
What's more, my last name too happens to carry its own meaningful load. Which reminds me of my very first end-of-semester exam at Sofia University - I was the first to be examined, and the professor straight out asked me how long I had had those names :)

Fortunately, I was so focused on simply answering as best as I could that I didn't even stop to consider what the question actually meant. We got to know each other better at conferences and similar in the following years, so any doubts about the authenticity of my poor noms were earnestly dispelled.
