I agree. You are blessed with amazing landscapes. I love the diversity of the wildlife too. Who could not fall in love with a koala, or a kuckaburra? Bet I spelt that wrong.

Hi Shandy. You made me laugh ... no, not like a kookaburra :D I think I like your spelling much more. Yeap, I love the animals too, although between you and I, I confess that I like a salty (salt water crocodile) to be a l o n g distance from me.

Oh how wonderful it was to hear that tune again. Thank you for attaching it. Sooo many memories, but I am sure as primary school kids we didnt sing in tune or together very well. This version seems tame and subdued compared to how we sang it, and we would only sing the first chorus, because it always seemed strange that the song referred to monkeys which we dont have here.

Your most welcome. And yes, that is odd they would toss in monkeys if none are to be found. I only remembered the first line, and appearently according to this not even that one fully lol. Thanks for meaning them, allowed me to look it up and even pull up the picture of the blue kuckaburra. Brought up a happy memory, the song did.

Yes it was a lovely memory. We would sing in a raucous way and laugh our heads off at the end of it. Great fun.

Tes and stay away from the sharks, snakes and blue octopus. They look fine in a nature programme though.

Absolutely, and if you don't mind I would add: box jellyfish, stonefish, redback and funnel web spiders. Good grief, it is a wonder we survive here. :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Blue octopuses sound awesome, but sounds like something one should stay clear of...add that to my list of things to look up when I have more time.
