Your thread opened up the issue brought up since the discussion is specifically about the Holy Spirit. You would be amazed how many Creeds exist and they're based off of the Nicene Creed as a guideline.

But just like the example I gave about hearing what person to give to and tell them God loves them came From God but it was delivered to me through the Holy Spirit living within me. The men who wrote the Bible experienced similar process. God told Moses in the mountain, the other Prophets would do as instructed or said and then we read the story about how it happened and the results. God is the same then as now.

In my opinion it's Ok to have specific Conversations and topics in Our Life With God. One topic, for example is How Can we keep from sin in a sinful world?" . Another could be, "How can we find God's will for Our Lives"? I'm not changing this post to those topics but am expressing I believe it's totally fine to focus on a subject totally on One part of God, such as the Holy Spirit and have a discussion to get closer in that area. I am not leaving out God the Father, Or Jesus Christ out of the Conversation. But focusing On Our relationship with The Holy Spirit in which, The Bible clearly states speaks to us and The Topic is, " How do you hear From The Holy Spirit in your walk with Jesus" . Their seems to be some conflict with you that I sense that you seem to believe the Holy Spirit does not speak to the believer in which is false. The Holy Spirit does speak to us.

I said as Your Verse claims what the Holy Spirit says is what the Holy Spirit hears from God. The Bible clearly says the Holy Spirit is not holding a conversation but is passing along what is heard

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

In humility and in kindness I speak this to you. What you say is a lie. Their is most definitely a conversation of the Holy Spirit. It's called the Heavenly Conversation. I pray God roots all lies out of your heart that you have been taught and believed in Jesus name...Amen

Peace to you and Grace to you in Jesus name....I'm done discussing this with you but I'm going to ask you not to force you beliefs on this subject....Simply opt out of this post and commenting. You have voiced your concerns and I ask you to move on to another Post.

Jesus said the Spirit says what is HEARD FROM GOD. So your Verse in Revelation is about what the Spirit heard God say and then the Spirit told the Churches.

One Verse doesn't eliminate the other it confirms what Jesus said in the Gospels.

NO MORE!!! I asked you in kindness to refrain. Now I'm asking you to leave the post. I don't invite arguments here in discussion because it's sinful

Please explain the relation to the sower parable more clearly.
I thought you were being ironic.

The purpose of the Jesus giving us the Holy Spirit is to give us the understanding and power to produce fruit.
Jhn 15:5
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Jhn 15:8
“By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Jhn 15:16
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
Act 1:8
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me[fn] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Act 10:38
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Phl 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

So, when we are walking in the Holy Spirit we will be fruitful. If we are not bearing fruit there is likely some blockage to the flow of the Holy Spirit from our spirit to our mind and our body. In the parable of the sower Jesus identifies various hindrances - a heart that will not love those outside of one's traditions, the path; a heart that is resentful and unwilling to love those who respond hatefully to us for attempting to love them, the stony ground; a heart that is unwilling to single-mindedly press on to the prize of the high calling of God, which is that we be conformed to the image of Jesus, the thorny ground.

Each of these hindrances in the parable correlate to a lack of comprehension of and participation in each of the dimensions of God's love. and occur in the parable in the same order as Paul lists the four directions of God's love: length, breadth, depth and height.

To fully express God's love we need to express His love in all four directions. Being filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit will produce a love in all four directions. Hence, one way to be filled with the Spirit is to meditate on how Jesus expressed these four loves and until we become inspired to behave like Him in all four directions.

I didn't realize building upon Scripture that we're instructed to do was arguing? Oh, is it because you are not aware that what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit ALWAYS APPLIES? Jesus is the same as are His very words about the Holy Spirit.

God Bless!

So if I read what you wrote correctly, The Holy Spirit taught you to deeply love the hearts in each of the 4 conditions.....Sounds like awesomeness to me! That's such a wonderful perspective that I have never thought to do. I appreciate this testimony and sharing.

Firstly I have every authority in Christ Jesus. Secondly, I started the post and if I feel their will be people not adding to the discussion or being a distraction, I will kindly ask them not to join in as I did in love. If someone persists in trying to change the direction of the post to something that is sinful or argumentative, I will surely ask them to leave. This is a Christian community not adhering to the laws of cyber space and which hurting each other is common place. This is a Christian forum and God is here as well as everywhere else. People may not believe that but I practice righteousness and will not sin against God or allow anyone else to in my post

I was mistaken in saying -

Each of these hindrances in the parable correlate to a lack of comprehension of and participation in each of the dimensions of God's love, and occur in the parable in the same order as Paul lists the four directions of God's love: length, breadth, depth and height.

They are not in exactly the same order. To be fair, the original revelation I received treated breadth and length as one plane, and pointed to a love horizontally, for all those around me , both in my "tribe" and outside my tribe. Seeing the distinction between loving my tribe and our traditions and the narrow compacted path, and loving those outside my tribe in the broad but shallow field came with further meditation of the texts, and I assumed the order length the breadth matching path and field. But there is no reason that the order of terms needs to be the same for there nevertheless to be correspondence between the terms.

Eph 3:18
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Thanks, Paul.

I wasn't being ironic, just seeking clarity in your words rather than in my presumption.

I thought what was likely inciteful was that in sowing the Word, or in any way dealing with the Word, we can get too narrow-minded and looking at the beginning or the basics, rather than at the entirety of what the Word, the Gospel, contains in its full scope and thus at who the Word - that Seed sown - is.

Within the seed that is sown lies everything necessary to become fruit. An abundance of fruit shows that we ourselves are being spiritually nourished in order to produce it. Yet fruit, in the natural, also nourishes, sustains, and benefits others. In that way, the fruit is both inward and outward. And love - being conformed to Him, the One who is love - is the highest expression of that fruit, corresponding to the varied levels of productivity in the Parable of the Sower. IOW, the Seed sown is Christ, Christ is love, and love is the fruit.

IOW, again, within that Seed is contained the beginning through the end - the alpha through the omega, so to speak - and when it's sown it's meant to be abundantly productive.

I draw closer to the Spirit by asking every day for His help. " . . . how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Listening and waiting is also key for me; anticipating Him. He makes Himself know to those who are His. After awhile, it's easy to recognize Him.

I used to study the scriptures based on topics that were interesting to me: forgiveness, sin, reconciliation, the house of God, etc. Now, I ask the Spirit to lead me to what He wants to show me. Not like a random place in the Bible but in a conversation. Once I have the inkling, I'll go search it out in the scriptures.

For me drawing closer to the spirit and being in communion with him I tend to go into the shower and just speak with him listen to him feel him I focus on the sound of running water as I try to focus on him

You can cup your ears with your hands and hear the sound of rushing waters as well.Jesus taught me this, and at the time I thought it was silly because I wasn't born again.
Think of it this way.All things both seen and unseen are made for him and by him through the blood of his cross. With our spiritual eyes, ears, thoughts we should "see" everything held together by Spirit, water, blood if you really want to search these things.
When we breath in the air, and into our lungs and testify of the Word, it is like our lungs become two stone tablets with the Word written on them. They become living stones. You have the spirit which is the air we breath and two living stone tablets that represent the Word of God.Or the water, and the blood/covenants.
Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
So when you cup your ears and hear the sound of like rushing living waters it is like you can hear the sound of the Spirit moving.

It's another on earth as it is in heaven moment when you think about it.When we stop breathing in air, there is no life in us.If we don't have the Holy Spirit, then there is no life in us.

How dare you write such a fear monger statement against Christ Jesus. All your doing is spreading doubt, fear, and lies amongst the Christian community. I would like you to consider this, Jesus knew Judas was going to betray him the whole time and not once did he NOT single him out to anyone of the identity of the betrayer. I would advise you to follow The Lord Jesus Christ example. What is so Amazing about separation from God , only Remorsing!

Mediators need to remove such rediculous post....once again. How Dare you!! This is an antichrist Post...it needs to be removed...
I'm addressing the topic of the thread. It is anti-Christ and should be removed

Soon after Albert's display of a "self-righteous" RANT, ... the thread was, " Not open for further replies." and Me_Clay was banned.

I'm just concerned, that Albert might have had something, "unjustly" to do with those latter consequences.
Thank you, for YOUR concern .. Blessings !
