God chose Deborah to fight a battle, an Esther to turn the evil tide set forth by Haman and save a nation, a humble peasant girl Mary to bring forth the saviour of the world, a Jael, a tent-dweller or housewife to assassinate the captain of an army. Women who refused to trust in themselves, who out their faith in God and followed God's call, have accomplished great things for God.
You cannot do anything without God and God will not do anything without you. All God needs a weak instrument to do His job so that He would get all the glory. "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong......so that no one may boast before Him "( 1Cor 1:27-29). "When I am weak, then I am strong "(2 Cor 12:10).
God is not pleased if we think, " I have studied so much. I am capable and talented. I can do this job. " Neither He pleased when we back out due to lack of confidence or weakness. If God puts a burden in our hearts, we should be ready to follow His dictates, trusting in His grace. Then we will witness miracle after miracle and give glory to Him. We should not miss this wonderful experience due to fear of failure.
The qualifications God looks in us are weakness, humility and total trust in Him. Satan will keep on discouraging you and frightening you. All you have to say is, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, " and proceed to trust and obey!
