All the videos I'm seeing on YouTube are coming from conservative biased sources so that makes me wonder if they're only telling one side of the story
The claim is that military is having recruitment shortages due to woke policies like diversity equity and inclusion, critical race theory etc.... Anyone in here who has recently served who can attest to this?

That's a great question and I can't really give an opinion on this as I don't have enough information.

I do wonder if obesity, the perpetual military action/deployment of our armed forces, and the lack of care by our government post service are contributing factors as to why there is a decline in recruits.

Yeah I was watching a bunch of videos about it but they are all from Fox News which makes me wary because Fox News is basically a right-wing propaganda machine. Maybe someone here has recently served and will have something to say about it
