Another lie coming from one of your posts my friend. What is funny, is that you have to inject man's obedience as being necessary for eternal salvation, thereby limiting God's grace.

First, what is your favorite hobby?@ForestGreenCook Am I one of the elect that is eternally saved? Please tell me sir.
In my study of the scriptures I fail to find "via the word" anywhere connected with regeneration scriptures. You are squeezing that in to make it fit your necessity of obeying the gospel to get eternal life. Your efforts to apply all salvation scriptures as eternal salvation is why you have to make it necessary to obey the gospel. Obedience to the gospel delivers us here in time, but not eternally, eternal deliverance is by the sovereign grace of God, without mans efforts.
I disagree. You do not have to proclaim the gospel in order to be regenerated. In fact that, is not possible for the natural man.
What is funny, is that you have to inject man's obedience as being necessary for eternal salvation, thereby limiting God's grace.
If it’s lying he has ‘elect’ stamped somewhere on his body.First, what is your favorite hobby?
It is always good to go back to the Greek to better understand what was originally written in that language my friend.Eph 1:13 - Being sealed (stamped, as the earnest or down payment) is not the receiving of the Holy Spirit, but sealed with the promise of our redemption. They were regenerated, then they trusted and believed, then "AFTER" they trusted and believed they received the stamped and sealed promise of their redemption. The natural man cannot trust and believe spiritual things "BEFORE" he receives the Holy Spirit. So, being sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise does not mean receiving the Holy Spirit, just the promise of redemption.
Wonderful post my friend. May God bless you this Lord’s day. I hope you are not offended by my ‘sage blessings’. I do not have any oregano, as I am all out of it.CTS is a denial of the true Gospel. Let me explain one other reason before we head off to worship.
In the CTS gospel it has the elect on the broad road leading to damnation. How precious that would sound to the carnal and lost! "Hey, I believe in heaven, the PB says that means I'm elect. They say I can be on the broad road that leads to damnation too, at the same time. Music to my carnal ears!"
How gravely dangerous is this doctrine from the pit of hell. They say their doctrine is attractive, and thus it is, to the natural man and to the carnal mind.
CTS denies the Gospel and the necessity of sanctification, telling others it is not necessary for eternal salvation via assertion and deduction of their teachings.
Yet the Gospel declares this all a heinous lie.
Note Hebrews 12:14, without this holiness no person will see the LORD. It is not a "positional" sanctification only, it is something the elect pursue by grace, by the work of the Spirit in them.
Note the context!
"Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord."
The PB denies this glorious truth and says you will see the LORD no matter what if you're "elect."
Yes, our son is buried in Winston-Salem too. God bless you and your wife. Hope she got lot's of mayo to make sammiches.Wonderful post my friend. May God bless you this Lord’s day. I hope you are not offended by my ‘sage blessings’. I do not have any oregano, as I am all out of it.
I am stuck in this morning as it is sleeting, so church has been(rightly) called off.![]()

You must read over my comments without letting them register with you. Take a closer look at my posts #550, 552,563. Then reread your post #556 where you refuse to extend the same favor. Your statement "They speak of a deliverance [ONLY] here on earth" Your post #5, is a false accusation, we speak also of an eternal deliverance into heaven. That's funny, I've never seen this post and I've searched.
I've bot seen this since your last accusation added in wherein you claimed I said you believed such and such. I never made that statement and requested you to stop lying and apologize.
What is it you want me to apologize for? Exposing you? For not misrepresenting your beliefs? For addressing each of your accusations and arguments? For trying to hold you accountable to your poor behavior? You know I've not lied about you nor have I misrepresented you. What is it that you'd like for me to apologize about seeing you've not done so yourself after all of your lies &c.
Yes, our son is buried in Winston-Salem too. God bless you and your wife. Hope she got lot's of mayo to make sammiches.![]()
What this boils down to my friend is Sola Scriptura. I say the word of God is sufficient to save God’s elect, you say it is not. You are denying the sufficiency of scripture. You must read over my comments without letting them register with you. Take a closer look at my posts #550, 552,563. Are you claiming that believing and preaching a false doctrine is not destructive? The elect were sanctified by Jesus Christ's faithfulness in going to the cross, Gal 2:16.CTS is a denial of the true Gospel. Let me explain one other reason before we head off to worship.

I am not denying that obeying the gospel can save (deliver) you here in time, just not eternally, that is by God's grace alone without any action of man. What this boils down to my friend is Sola Scriptura. I say the word of God is sufficient to save God’s elect, you say it is not. You are denying the sufficiency of scripture.![]()
So someone can live contrary to the word of God and still gain heaven? Your doctrine allows you to live a sin filled life? Wow!I am not denying that obeying the gospel can save (deliver) you here in time, just not eternally, that is by God's grace alone without any action of man.
