Hello all, I grew up in the church, I had a strong faith, worked with many denominations, studied my bible, evangelised, lead services, hosted prayer meetings. And then mid twenties I drifted away. Away from my home town, my faith, God. I started by declaring myself a non denominational Christian, and slowly drifted further and further away.

I'm forty now! Churches are closing left right and centre, and there are non locally that I have found that suit me, my personality, my worship style. I am no longer lost from God, just as the name suggests, a little dislocated from him, and church, and faith.

Hence joining here. So, erm, hello from a 40 year old, British, dislocated from faith, individual.

Hi Dislocated, well I wouldn't mind being located in the UK for a while, lol, jk. It's great the Lord led you here to connect to fellow believers and reconnect to the fullness of God. May He Bless & keep you always, welcome!🙏🔯

Ephesians 4:32
New International Version
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

2 Corinthians 5:7
New International Version
7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

Revelation 21
New International Version
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Hebrews 2:1-9
New International Version

2 We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

John 15
New International Version

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
