The Trinity is the Godhead— God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Surely you know this?

Most people who believe in the trinity believe there are 3 GODS.

Do you?

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

I did answer, but you’re missing it. I never found any verses that say babies are born with sin. This is the answer, therefore we can conclude that they aren’t. You have yet to give me a verse indicating that they are born WITH sin. (?)

The scenarios that I gave are indicative! Babies and young kid that die go to hell? I think not!! They are innocents.

Sorry, but we are born in sin, don't care what you think.

You said in post #802

"I’m aware there is a human doctrine that believes babies are born into sin, but this isn’t what the NT teaches. Please provide verses, perhaps I’m wrong…."

Now you say you can't find any?

Which is it?

If you want to ask me where babies go if they die that is something different, still doesn't prove they are not born in sin.

I agree with you, babies did not have the ability to choose to follow JESUS or Satan.

I think Jews put the age 13? as the age of accountability.

I know some kids mature quicker, some slower.

Why didn't you just ask that?

I don't think that most people who believe in the Trinity believe in three Gods. Is there a single person here on Christian Chat who says that they believe in a trinity of three Gods? I and all the Trinity believers I have come across believe there is one God in three "persons", Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They don't believe that the Father is one God, the Son another God, and the Holy Spirit a third. Indeed, the very verse you quoted says that God was manifested in the flesh, not that a separate God came in the flesh.

Good, but you just said three "persons"??

GOD is spirit, the Holy Ghost is spirit and JESUS was 100% man and 100% GOD.

Yes I did say persons. It's the way we tend to speak of Father, Son and Holy Spirit being one God. An example is found in the hymn, "Holy, Holy, Holy," the first verse of which is:

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty;
Gratefully adoring, our songs shall rise to Thee:
Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty,
God in Three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Now that you said it back it up with HIS word.

If you can't it's your words not JESUS.

How do WE get rid of our sins?

Just read those verses?

Did you die for our sins?

Faith in his blood, not water baptism.

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Though faith, not water baptism.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Now that you said it back it up with HIS word.

Baptism is not part of preaching the gospel. If baptism was essential for salvation, Paul would have included it.

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

If water baptism is essential for salvation in this age then why did Paul the Apostle to the Gentiles, who preached the gospel of the grace of God, say he was not sent to baptize. If water baptism was essential for salvation then Christ would have sent him to both preach the gospel and baptize.

Paul actually states that he's glad he didn't baptize.

Yea, I would never sing that song.

There is ONLY ONE GOD, HIS word is kinda like a mystery nowhere does it say MY NAME IS.

Like other things in HIS word it's like a big puzzle and those who seek will find which pieces fit together.

When Moses asked HIS he said I AM WHAT I AM.

There are many verse that prove JESUS is GOD.

In this verse JESUS reveals who HE is.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

He was speaking to HIS disciple who knew who HE was, notice the words "IN THE NAME OF"?

How did HIS disciples tell us to be baptized?

Yep, in JESUS name.

Did they disobey HIM?

Check out this verse.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

No man ascended to Heaven.
At that point JESUS was born and has never ascended yet.

Second part, but he that came done from Heaven. He did.

Third part, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
HE'S IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH SPEAKING TO NICODEMUS.

How cool is that, there are many more.

Foudation is the key.

There is a reason Paul doesn't speak of baptism, that is because he is speaking to to church's he started who have already been baptized and received the Holy Ghost.

Did you ever notice he tells the importance of it and it's propose in Romans 6?

Did you know Paul was baptized and spoke in tongues?

Since you have no idea how we get rid of our sins and don't think we need to, then I have different questions.

Are we born in sin?

Will sin enter Heaven?

It seems that you and I agree that there is one God.

You believe that the Father is God, I assume. Jesus said:

““I and My Father are one.”” (Joh 10:30 NKJV)

Even His enemies realised that He claimed equality with God the Father:

“Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.” (Joh 5:18 NKJV)

John begins his gospel talking of Jesus Christ as "the Word":

“1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (Joh 1:1-3 NKJV)

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (Joh 1:14 NKJV)

So in the bible, Jesus is shown to be God.

In the matter of Ananias and Sapphira, lying to the Holy Spirit is called lying to God, indicating that the Holy Spirit is God:

“3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 “While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”” (Ac 5:3-4 NKJV)

Thus the Holy Spirit is God. One God, consisting of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

What Paul taught to one church, he taught to every church.

1 Corinthians 4:17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

Not one ounce of water in Romans 6. Paul is talking about being baptized into Christ. A spiritual baptism into his body.

FYI, sin separates us from GOD.

NT rebirth started in Acts 2

Not only does GOD not hear sinners and sin is not going to enter Heaven you should look at how to get rid of them.

If Paul doesn't speak of it, that is because it is in the past and no reason to speak of it.

Here is a clue.

Paul is speaking to the church in Corinthian.

1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

This is what he told them

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
King James Version
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

WHAT WAS THE GOSPEL THAT HE PREACHED TO THEM????

What is true for the body of Christ at Corinth, is true for us today. Paul taught the same doctrine everywhere he went.

Paul did not even preach water baptism when he came to them. He preached the gospel of Jesus Christ, no baptism.

2 Corinthians:
1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

So you really think we don't need to get rid of our sins!!

Are you even concerned since you don't reply, did you even search?

How about look at it this way.

This will help you with the gospel that Paul preached TO HIS CHURCH in Corinthian.

He wrote to HIS church in the year 54 or 55 AD.

He asked the Ephesians this in the year 52 to 55 AD.

SAME TIME FRAME.

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

7 And all the men were about twelve.

8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

Since you will not answer if we have to get rid of our sins, how about these questions?

Paul asked these, I ask you.

Have YOU received the Holy Ghost since you have believed?

How were YOU baptized?

Now let's look at verse 10, He stayed there for 2 years teaching who?

If your claiming Paul preached a different gospel you are wrong.

UNLESS, UNLESS Paul preached one message to some and another message to others.

1. Do you think Paul preached different messages?

2. Have YOU received the Holy Ghost since you have believed?

3. How were YOU baptized?

Of course the first question how do we get rid of our sins remains unanswered.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Do you not believe that Jesus is equal to God?? There are plenty of verses in the NC to corroborate this fact.
He sat down at the right hand of God and rules.

Do you know the difference between gods and God?

Paul did not even preach water baptism when he came to them. He preached the gospel of Jesus Christ, no baptism.

You’re not connecting the dots. Acts 19:4-5
There are plenty of examples throughout the NT concerning baptism. Unless you’re born of the water and the Spirit you can’t be saved.

Jesus commanded:

John 3:5 (NKJV): 5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
