Out of curiosity..... why do you think he said that?
He like JESUS worked with a team.

Paul like JESUS was sent to Preach not baptize.

John 4:1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

FYI, a lot of people not sure if your one of them don't like Acts 2:38 or Acts 22:16 which is being baptized in JESUS name to get rid of our sins.

I'm getting a spirit check!!!

I have NO idea what spirit your following BUT WHATEVER IT IS I DON'T WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

I'M OUT...
I'm not surprised you getting a spirit check, but if you are insinuating that I am lead by a spirit and not the Spirit you may want to exercise a little discernment and caution. God doesn't take kindly to such things against His children. I wonder why you didn't get a check about that.

Have you been baptized in JESUS name?

Have you spoke in tongues?

John 3:5
King James Version
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Are you proffering that I'm not saved?
That is between you and JESUS.

It's my job to share his word.

Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

But that's what you are implying, right? That's what your questions were about? Because I wasn't baptized with the correct words and because I've never spoken in tongues, I'm not saved?
Forget about me, can someone who has never spoken in tongues be saved?

Yes. I have a tongue talking daughter and son in law as well as a tongue talking sister and brother in law. They arnt to worried about my soul. But then again they arnt in the cult of oneness.

I can only share HIS word, it works with humble people.

Why do you think JESUS said the path to HELL is broad and wide?

I'M OUT.
You were out before you even started. You have to be in the ballpark to play, and when the heat get's too high in the kitchen, it's a good idea to leave.

On the other hand, we could still converse if you would deal with what I actually posted rather than make up a bunch of garbage I never said. If not, then perhaps you'll learn proper etiquette.

"salvation via faith rather than via circumcision"

You are trying to make this say what you want it to say.... Paul is talking to Jews that thought that their "Jewishness" was enough for salvation.... He was saying that their Jewishness was not sufficient for salvation, that faith is necessary... it had nothing to do with baptism, unless you wish to connect the dots that tell us that if we have faith, we will be in obedience, which includes baptism...

"contradict himself by teaching that baptism is required in addition to faith in the other epistles."

When did Paul teach that baptism was NOT necessary? Leaving a part out of a discussion does not mean it is not still there. If that part was not meant to be there, then it would not have been allowed to be in ANY discussion of salvation... but there are numerous references and examples that show the necessity of it.

John 13:35 has no bearing in this discussion at all "35 By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.” Perhaps you mistyped the scripture you meant to reference?
Paul taught that WB is not essential by not teaching that it IS essential, and Jesus did the same.

Do you care that JESUS says we need BOTH to be reborn???

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. CAN'T ENTER without BOTH...

BACK WHAT YOU SAY UP, "WB merely a work and way of professing faith in Christ's baptism" IF YOU CAN'T then it is NOT TRUE...

I sure have, I was filled by HIM the same why he filled HIS DISCIPLES.

NO ONE SHOULD BE PREACHING WITHOUT IT!!!!

Sorry IT was look again at John 3:5.

I LOVE PAUL, BUT you will NOT see anywhere after the book of Acts how to be saved.

They are letter to Pauls churchs which have been reborn with the foundation of the book of Acts.

Do see anywhere how Paul started those churchs????
Jesus did NOT say WB is necessary to be saved/reborn. Being born of water refers to natural birth.
Every Christian/disciple has the Spirit and remains filled more and more of the time as they mature spiritually.
If you think Paul does not teach how to be saved other than in Acts, you're NUTS!!!
We are reborn and we are discussing how to be saved, RIGHT???
Why do you think Paul would refrain from doing so???!!!

Why is there ONE GOD and ONE bible and so many different denominations???

Why was HIS word altered to so many different bibles???

Men don't like what HIS word says so just follow what they like thinking ALL of those roads end the same.

As you can see with Matthew 7 they don't.

I don't give my opinion to anything I let HIS word do the talking.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Mark 16:16-17
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Your walk is between you and HIM your going to have the be the one who decides.

How do people say you are reborn today, just say this prayer, saved by grace or faith only, being baptized is for show, baptized in JESUS titles not HIS NAME, Paul preached a different message the list goes on.

Peter was very clear who had the Keys to heaven and examples of fokes being reborn in the book of Acts 8, 10, and 19.

In EVERY case it lined up with both John 3:5, Acts 2:38 and Mark 16.

JESUS filled them with the Holy Ghost and they spoke in tongues, and they were baptized in JESUS name. It happened in different orders.

I agree I don't have much tack.

Just trying to share his word for TODAY is the day of salvation tomorrow is not promised.

Your walk is between you and HIS, HE will be the one judging you with ALL OF HIS rule book.

No reason to go on, dusting my feet and moving on.

Best of luck.

I have NO IDEA why you would say that IT'S NOT TRUE.

Problem is people can't read and understand simple words they don't like what it says so that is why do many different denominations!!

JESUS was speaking to Nicodemus, was Nicodemus already born??

If you were not born you would not be able to READ HIS WORD.

If you were not born you would NOT NEED TO BE BAPTIZED in JESUS name to get rid of your sins you were born with.

Did you notice JESUS used the word REBORN???? HOW CAN you be REBORN with out being BORN naturally???

Look at John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

JESUS states was is born of flesh is flesh and spirit is spirit.

I agree with you, the spirit teaches us more and more the problem is so many people think they have it and never spoke in tongues. CAN YOU SHOW me in HIS word where someone was filled and didn't????

Mark 16: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

The only way a person becomes a Christian is when they are Christ like, JESUS was baptized and received the Holy Ghost.

SHOW ME WHERE PAUL SAYS DO THIS TO BE REBORN!!! CLEAR INSURRECTIONS LIKE Peter did in Acts 2:4 WHICH PAUL OBEYED.

Being reborn is the most important thing we can do, and false prophets says it happens MANY WAYS just like the path to Hell the road is wide and broad.

PAUL STARTED many church's HE DID PREACH how to be saved, if you were there you would have heard the message. BUT SINCE Paul is SPEAKING TO HIS CHURCHS WHY would he keep telling them how to be saved????

That is why you WILL NOT FIND IT. Don't tell me he did, prove he did.

HOW DID YOU GET RID OF YOUR SINS????

If I may...

1. Denominations occur when Christians are unconcerned about spiritual unity.
2. There are different versions of the Bible because translation is not an exact science.
3. All truth leads to one Way.
4. In Matthew 7:7 Jesus commands sinners to seek truth.
5. Everything not in quotes is your opinion.
6. John 3:5 speaks of natural birth and spiritual rebirth.
7. Mark 16:16-17 is not in the most reliable manuscripts, which is why all denominations don't drink poison.
8. Christians walk by faith, not by sight or proof, including miracles and tongues.
9. People view baptism and the Lord's Supper as symbolic rather than sacraments because that is what Paul taught.
10. The Key to heaven is faith in Jesus as Messiah.
11. GW includes many more verses than John 3:5, Acts 2:38 and Mark 16.
12. Tongues was only a minor gift mentioned only in Acts and 1Cor, NOT in the gospels or other epistles.

Thank you...

A false gospel is anathema per Paul in Galatians.
Galatians 1:6 - I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed/anathema. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed/anathema.
