And how do we apply it to our lives?
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

I guess you're saying just believe the gospel??? That is how we are reborn???
IF SO?, since sin separates us from him, can you show me where just believing get rid of our sins and fills us with the Holy Ghost.
Re read what he’s saying why would he agree to the gospel and the things Jesus sent forth by his apostles ? He’s arguing there’s a whole different gospel that Paul was secretly taught and the apostles weren’t preaching the same thing only Paul’s words can save us is the argument he wants you to first reject the gospel and the book of acts u til Paul is converted to the church and then he’s claiming paul then began a whole new gospel that saves peopleAnd how do we apply it to our lives?
Ephesians 1
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
1. Hear the gospel
2. Trust/Believe the gospel
3. Sealed with the Spirit

Thank you Sir, I have been dealing with those who think Paul preached a different message for some time now on Facebook so called Christians sights. i get kicked off of them. I haven't been able to plant a seed on good soil yet, or that I know of. I ask what about 1 Cor chapter 14 which is about the the Holy Ghost and the gifts? Romans 6 about baptism, Acts 19 including verse 10 where he spent 2 years preaching to the Jews and Greeks. Acts 9:15 where JESUS tells Ananias that he want's Paul to preach to the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
ALL I GET is hard as rock hearts. I wouldn't be dealing with me much longer, one can only pant so many seeds.
Yes it’s really a sad thing but also we were told it was coming
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
2 Timothy 4:1-4
Once a person starts believing fables as truth then when they hear the truth it sounds faulty . False doctrine is the thing that destroyed man in the ot and also ot does on the new
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.”
2 Peter 2:1-2 KJV
Some aren’t interested in hearing the doctrine so they try to convince people “ the gospel of Jesus isn’t the real gospel that saves anyone , there’s a different gospel of Paul alone he teaches a baptism that’s really no baptism needed , he doesn’t teach the kingdom of God he just only said “ Jesus died and rose now your all saved “
then in a discussion you say well the Bible says this but then they tell you why it’s wrong or you just don’t get it “if you think anyone needs to hear and obey the lord your crazy !” I have faith so I don’t need to do anything Jesus said will save me I have the other anti gospel gospel lol “ don’t believe or do anything jesus and the apostles said to do …..and then you’ll really be saved by the other gospel we preach of nothingness and no words of God involved just how Webster interprets grace …….
Its truly sad but also frustrating like showing colors to someone who is colorblind at times
I have been dealing with those who think Paul preached a different message
Precious friend, @Ouch, it actually starts with God's Command In His Word in 2 Timothy 2:15 AV:It is sad. No idea how some of this stuff starts.
[/QUOTE]“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
AmenIt is sad. No idea how some of this stuff starts.
ONE MAN started the sinner's prayer and so many church's follow it.
I've had people tell me what questions . org said!! Or other men on the internet.
I know I'm short on my answers, but I don't like taking on two subjects because they get lost so I just try to POUND HOME how do we get rid of our sins???? And ask for scripture to back it up.
I just stick with it hopefully they will see.
I don't like to talk a lot as MOST of those who do have something to hide so they just talk.
I like to let JESUS do the talking. This is HIS SHOW NOT MINE.
Pride a terrible thing, why Satan was kicked out of Heaven.
His finest work KEEP THEM OUT OF THE WATER. NOTHING live without water.
So crazy GOD chose water but all makes sense.
GOD BLESS YOU, not because you agree with me, but you agree with HIS WORD.
According to this passage, baptism was not enough, but Paul laying his hands on them.
I agree, just like what JESUS said in John 3:5, can't enter without being born of water and of spirit.
The water being spoken of by Jesus in John 3:5 is not childbirth. The birth Jesus is speaking about is a birth from above, a spiritual birth. This is clearly seen in verses 7 and 8. Further, the kingdom of God is not a physical kingdom. It exists within the believer. Physical birth has nothing to do with the kingdom of God.
Nowhere in the passage in John 3 is baptism mentioned. To link the passage to baptism has no foundation.“The water being spoken of by Jesus in John 3:5 is not childbirth. The birth Jesus is speaking about is a birth from above, a spiritual birth.”
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
John 3:5 KJV
yeah we should forget Jesus said water and spirit and let you explain why there no water involved in the new birth of a son
“And straightway coming up out of the water,
he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
and there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Mark 1:10-11 KJV
those who were baptized into Christ ( water for remission in his name ) and received the holy ghost( spirit of Christ )
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, ( water )
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. ( spirit )
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
Acts 2:38-39 KJV
“While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost ( spirit ) as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. ( water for remission ) Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.”
Acts 10:44, 46-48 KJV
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ( thou art my son in whom I’m well pleased )
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Galatians 3:26-29 KJV
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
“But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ,
they were baptized, both men and women.”
Acts 8:12 KJV
The baptism Jesus and his apostles did they did in water in his name for remission of sins they say there’s one baptism. like when Jesus was baptized he was baptized in water and received the spirit
sure brother being born of water and spirit has nothing to do with being born anew . we should remove the water and say grace and thank God we’re already chosen and saved and don’t need to obey him or anything like that
Nowhere in the passage in John 3 is baptism mentioned. To link the passage to baptism has no foundation.
The reference to water is actually a reference to the gospel. See 1 Peter 1:23...being born again by the word of God.
