You have every right to hold to your private views, I'm not here to force the gospel on you. My understanding of the gospel, is that it's by God's calling only, that one can believe it.

God never promised to open everyone's spiritual eyes, so they can believe the gospel. He did say that nobody is seeking the truth. He did say that the gospel message is foolishness to those who are perishing.

Jesus was hated by the world because He is the truth and mankind hates the truth. Only those who God regenerates, converts and sanctifies, love the truth. It all makes sense, because Jesus said "I am the truth" so we know the truth is a person and not some philosophy.

The only reason we see the vast majority of the world hating Jesus, is because they hate the truth as it exposes their evil wickedness.

I'm saying exactly the opposite. Most who claim to be Christians are not due to all the false doctrine being taught.

Promises.. oh yes amen. Found them in Deut and had them all read when we got married 1982. He has kept every one of them.

I can see how we might think our tent so to speak is better then others yet He alone is up front. Yes yes its always the other one not me.

Now I know who He was talking to yet He means it to each one of His own “Because you are precious in My sight, You are honored and I love you.......". Those that differ from me I have to remember they are just as precious to Him as I am.

I do confess that I still still struggle with anger management issues, which I haven't fully overcome since being converted.

The Lord does remove the light from His children, when they need to go through a wilderness experience. We don't lose our salvation, but we do pierce ourselves with many unnecessary sorrows during our escapades.

The Lord does grant His children the gift of repentance and draws us back into household and receives us back as a lost and found child.

The big point of contention in the Churches is regarding, who is responsible for bringing back those who backslide into the world.

Is it the Churches' work of chasing down the backslider and finding him drugged up in a brothel, then convincing him to repent and come back to the Church.
Or does the individual somehow reprogram himself to hate the sin he loves and love the God he hates.

Or is it God who does a work in his heart and makes him see how ugly his sin is and cause him to repent. The Bible does have a lot to say about this, and it is clear that God alone is responsible for all saved people.

There is also the sad reality that some never come to repent, so they die in their sin. The Bibles says, "they went out from us, because they were never of us" Jesus said some who made a profession of faith were never His children to begin with.

Well God did this for you to no doubt.

So here's the reasoning, that when we don't repent we break the promise we where born into, we then become further into bondage and whatever punishment God deems necessary,

When we repent he's Good enough to save us from that bondage and forgive us.

Satan has no hold on us then..

But should we sin whilst saved and not repent we become in bondage to sin first not satan,

If we don't repent, where then in danger of punishment.

I believe the only time we become slaves to satan when saved is if it's willful sinning serious sinning and habitat sinning.

And the lord has removed his light from us ashe did the same thing to Saul.

And Saul was persecuted to the point he became a reprobate.

But that's not saying you can't break those chains or God can't free you again

I believe the salvation part is when the restoration of the finished works of Christ is completed in you.

So it could be your punished whilst in the being saved part, before recieving completeness.

Another thing you may not be fully aware of in this place which I was not aware of, is theres a lot of doctrines going around related to people being stripped of God completely, obviously we can see the above verse says different.


The other issue is it seems to be coming from Calvinists, I don't fully know theese Calvinists yet, but it could be the reason you've been so aggrieved.

There doctrines of total depravity seems to have infected many people around here, along with people who don't even know they've been talking to Calvinists


The otherwise thing I've noticed is theres also this hyper grace being taught, by these calvinists to.

It's what you call a deadly combination, mixing total depravity with hyper grace

Or even partial depravity with grace.

So it's got to the stage where Calvinists are stripping everybody of God around here with total depravity, to establish there doctrines.

I agree men hate the awful truth, we wish it was all about love and feel good stuff. But the reality is, Jesus is casting over 100,000 people into hell everyday. He did say most people are on the broad road that leads to hell and very few find the narrow road that leads to heaven.

You didn't specify, who Peter was referring to when he said "you and your children". Does that include those Jesus casts into hell everyday. I'm just confused as to who they are.

I'm not worried about any Calvinists stripping God from me, He is in my heart so they can't do that and pus He's stronger than those nasty guys. He can beat them in a fist fight anytime.
