Indeed, some have totally abandoned it in disbelief, such as the example of the steward who buried the talent that he had been given. That unrighteous servant supposed "knew" the master, that the master took what didn't belong to him, and the master told him, 'IF you (supposedly) 'knew' that about me, then (all the more reason why) you should've took it have made interest on it..." But, it turns out, actually, that he was wrong about the master, because the master took 'what didn't belong to him' and returned it in doubled portions in reward to the (other) stewards.But not all have faith:
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith.” (2Th 3:1-2 NKJV)
