Did anyone order a Scandiavian-style ‘freeze of the century’?
Britain is set to be blanketed by ice and snow this week with temperatures dipping well below zero.
The Met Office and public health officials have issued an amber cold weather warning in place until Friday, warning there might be an ‘observed increase in mortality across the population’.
Behind this 12-day whiteout is an 800-mile-wide ‘Scandi shiver’ that has already frozen Finland and Norway solid.

For example, temperatures of −40 degrees measured in some places in Lapland can briefly change to readings around zero degrees or even sheltered weather during the beginning of the week. Ants are fascinating creatures lol, it's surprising How God uses his creatures . God never called his creatures all great and small for nothing.

You know blain in times of loneliness your never alone, but more alone when you don't find a place to connect with Gods elements, It's the biggest problem there is for our senior citizens, not being able to get out and about .

Theres many ways to combat it tho, even just as simple as putting a few layer of clothes and just sitting out side, with a hobby you have. Like reading or even a green house planting new seeds and stuff.

There's many things you can do to find a reason to keep going, the older folk tell me. As you get older, it's just finding that motivation and sticking to a daily routine even if it's just something as watching the sun rise and setting, or taking up astronomy and marveling at Gods kingdom and his stars, each night for a bit.

I kinda get the feeling the light in you is drawn to the light that shines in the darkness, where your mind becomes open and clear away from doubt and emptiness, within half.an hour I can get the motivation I need for the next day, because I need it, because I realised I need that time with the lord to overcome the firey darts of doubt everyday from the darkness and troubles in the world, it's almost like every night I do this for half an hour the lord plans my next day for me

The negatives just accumulate if you don't have that free time each day. But the best fun is singing, lol and then feeling and knowing God likes your voice, whilst others may not, God will.

Singing is the key to freeing the mind of doubt and worry, it's a place you can also do a light dance each day, bobbing up and down like a goose

The heart is also a muscle that needs exercising lol.. you just have to go for it, that's what I say.

It is a theory and of course it is dependent on how quickly the ice melts and how long it takes for fresh water and salt water to mix.

However! Even if this does cause a cooling to the poles it would also cause a warming the equatorial region. That region would get hotter, while the poles would get colder.

Then they theorize that this will cause massive storms which in the frozen north would be snow, the extra snow would reflect more sunlight and that is what would cause the earth to cool down and enter an ice age.

Even the most ardent supporter of this theory realizes it is threadbare and flimsy and at best would be a "mini" ice age, as in a two to three years of really bad winters.

(I would point out that the reason, the fundamental force driving the ocean currents, is the difference in temperature. So even if this did cause a slowdown in the current, as the difference in temperatures increased the pressure for the current to resume would increase).

well I'm still intrigued by how global ice ages have covered the whole plannet before.

I'm not not fully convince by people reject global warming causes it,

But I am more convince global warming is the trigger for mini ice ages, and global ice ages.

It could come in the next two years like world wide.

I bet biden is disappointed by the fact the USA is warming 60 percent faster than anywhere else in the world.

Especially since he's invested hundreds of billions, and I believe climate control has been the main focus of his time in office

Well the highland in Scotland is normally the coldest part of the UK this time of year
