I'm told that California is a very beautiful state. My oldest son was there just last week for a pharmacy convention. He enjoyed his stay.
I did have him check out some prices for me at the grocery store. Some things were priced a little above what they cost here. Most were considerably higher. So don't fret. I can't afford to move there.

They are a dumb creature and, like deer, freeze from headlights. Unlike squirrels, the don't dodge oncoming traffic. Perhaps they think they are hippos.
I'd do some alliteration about hippos, but Pipp probably has one in her garage, and I'd only get into more trouble.

This is true....I was driving home at night w/my son and saw a paper bag in the road. Didn't bother to swerve and heard a thump. My son said, why did you do that?? I said, do what? He said, hit/kill that possum. I said, I just saw a bag and he said, 'didn't you see it's eyes shining, and I said, NO...why didn't it move? Lol, felt sad for a while.

Few people actually eat possum. The idea was popularized on Beverly Hillbillies. Granny was famous for her victuals or vittles.

Yes, and it doesn't take long. I'd say even the thought of it, when feeling nauseous, will probably give you a head start.
