I don't think he was looking for a mathematical formula? He was linking the bible verse to basic science concepts, that's all.

I also don't see him separating mathematics from science. Mathematics is the language of the universe after all.

[I was a math major, with a minor in computer science before I made it into a competitive nursing school.]
I was not looking for a mathematical formula to support this. This is exactly the problem I was talking about. In its simplest form, God created time, space, energy, and matter. All of the mathematical formulas prove God's existence by proving an orderly, divine existence of creation, which is balanced on a "razor"s edge, tweaked in just the right places. I have read many articles on this subject. The best resource I use is: https://www.icr.org/

I'd say that since God is the author of science... sure it supports it!
Yes, science does support creation. Most of the major scientists that prove this are usually suppressed by the secular societies of science, physics, and math.

Mathematics does prove God's existence with mathematical formulas. The mandelbrot set proves this with its infinite progression. The universe has many formulas to prove that God is a God of order, not chaos. Look up the electron microscope animation of protein synthesis and you will see God in action. How does one molecule know when to stop or step over another? The universe is balanced on a "razor's edge" with mathematical formulas proving this. In its basic sense, God created time, space, energy, and matter.

Just wondering about some input to stimulate this group. Does it support science?
Science knows NOTHING of it.

Next Question???

Nore: when it comes to "Science", and the questions of "origins", it's ALL BAD SCIENCE, since both sides of the argument START WITH A CONCLUSION - i.e. "God did it", or "It all just happened", and "evidence" is collected on both sides to support their pre-determined conclusion.

I agree, this can be shown by the Mandelbrot set. The values set by God for all of these are not only done in order, but with mathematical precision as well. The principle is simple, and this thread is proving how complicated one can make things based on secular thinking. In its simplest form, God created time, space, energy, and matter.

And the Laws of Physics were also created by God.

Deacon1964,

You must love the final 5 Chapters of the Book of Job, where God talks about stretching a line to measure or His Thoughts about how He created everything.

We see God as Scientist, Researcher, Problem Solver, Pattern Maker/Mathematician, Doctor, Engineer and much more.

Exactly! The chaos theory in mathematics show that even in what seems to be chaos is actually order. We think things are in chaos in something because the pattern is too large for us to see the order in it. But God can!

Science also shows God's intelligent design. When I had to study Anatomy and Physiology to study different organs and such, study the development of the baby in the womb, organic chemistry and everything else, you'd really have to be blind not to see God's intelligent design in any of that. Those systems are way too sophisticated to just accidentally come together in such an intricate way - even the simplest organisms have complexity.

I really love science because it show God's beautiful and creative imagination. It really is all so amazing and so fascinating!

You will discover true Science always verifies the Word of God because the Word of God is the Inspired Truth.

Jesus said God made Male and Female and the union of both create Life.

Homosexuals claim Science proves they are genetically designed and created naturally.

But let's take a very quick look at Evolution.

Let's get to the heart of the matter and begin with NATURAL SELECTION:

NATURAL SELECTION is picking and choosing random genetitics and traits to continue the evolving Species. That means NATURAL SELECTION would kill any homosexual genetics because those genetitics produce the Species that cannot keep the Tree of Life ALIVE.

So NATURAL SELECTION would destroy any genetitics that desired same sex and would not help to continue the Species chances for survival by continuing to produce life.

Truly, Evolution is another tool that shows us God's Word is Truth and for a Species to survive means it requires Male and Female attracted to one another.
Please stop the diversion. I can get into a debate about evolution using Darwin's own quotes to disprove his theory, but that is not the focus of the question. The question is basically about the building blocks of the universe which are energy, time, space, and matter. your long-winded reply proves to all the purpose of this discussion that man complicates the simplicity of the Bible. The diversion proves that you know nothing about what you read and just shot off a reply. Please focus on the subject at hand.

The better question might be...does science support creation? The error of science isn't that it can't support the truth of the Bible but that it purposefully seeks to deny it. And to do so, it has to contradict in many cases its own previous conclusions.
