The better question might be...does science support creation? The error of science isn't that it can't support the truth of the Bible but that it purposefully seeks to deny it. And to do so, it has to contradict in many cases its own previous conclusions.
You will discover true Science always verifies the Word of God because the Word of God is the Inspired Truth.

NATURAL SELECTION is picking and choosing random genetitics and traits to continue the evolving Species. That means NATURAL SELECTION would kill any homosexual genetics because those genetitics produce the Species that cannot keep the Tree of Life ALIVE.
So NATURAL SELECTION would destroy any genetitics that desired same sex and would not help to continue the Species chances for survival by continuing to produce life.

My take on Genesis is that it is history. Every day there is new evidence for the creation and Flood accounts.
Genesis 1:1 is DIVINE REVELATION. It supersedes science.
At the same time, it is God who has created the natural laws which underlie all sciences. Therefore there is no conflict between true science and divine revelation. God literally created the whole universe out of nothing. Christ simply SPOKE the worlds into existence. And everything was created in a perfect form. Nothing "evolved" after that. The theory of evolution is based upon speculation, and a desire to avoid the significance of divine creation and all that follows. And "Theistic Evolution" is just nonsense.
True science itself is not in contradiction with God. It is contradictory that man uses false scientific theories to deny the existence of the Creator.
Observation is the beginning of everything to understand things, you can try to observe everything with your own point of view, for example, you can think that there is no science in the world, only magic.

I am one that believes mathematics and science are separate entities.
Mathematics on its own will always survive.
Science without Mathematics is Opinion and becomes Void and Useless.

Ive taught a whole bible study on this one verse.
A simple verse at first glance...becomes one of the most informative verses written. Answering many questions.
1 ..in it it explains the trinity.
2...it answers the question... did God use evolution.
3....it uses the 3 things that are needed for such a event.
4... it also shows a intelligence far beyond mans ability when it was written.

If/when a scientist acknowledges there is a Creator and humbly comes to Him in faith, that scientist will come to understand what simple-minded believers have, by faith, known all along.

I don't think he was looking for a mathematical formula? He was linking the bible verse to basic science concepts, that's all.
I also don't see him separating mathematics from science. Mathematics is the language of the universe after all.
