Wheat are those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

And here we have another story that promotes Pentecost as the time for our departure. As Israel prepared two loaves on this day of Pentecost which contained leaven. Speaks of our sinful nature which by grace are we saved.

Pentecost was the end of the wheat harvest in Israel.

From the Wheat and Tares Parable ------------ Matthew 13

What about the wheat?
this is the parable and the explaination of it spoken by the lord

“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

( here’s what it means )

Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

the field is the world;

the good seed are the children of the kingdom;

but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the devil;

the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:24-30, 36-43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s the same image of judgement the Bible always teaches a summary of what’s happening in the world and why Jesus hasn’t returned for harvest he’s giving people time to repent . Notice the harvesters want to do it now but he’s saying “ no you might harm some of the wheat that’s not ripe yet wait until it’s finished then we’ll harvest the good and burn the bad at the end of the world

the New Testament is incredibly repetetive

“whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner;

but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:7-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What about it? Wheat represents genuine Christians, and the barn represents Heaven. So all believers will ultimately be in Heaven. "My wheat" means all genuine Christians belong to God through Christ.

What is a genuine christian???
the sheep on his right hand that acted in love where as the tares didn’t act in love

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, ( end of the world )and all the holy angels with him, ( harvesters ) then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:( judgement seat of Christ ) and he shall set the sheep ( wheat ) on his right hand, but the goats ( tares ) on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when …..And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when ……. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:

but the righteous into life eternal.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:31, 33-46‬ ‭KJV‬‬

repetition

“As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:40-43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“…. the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: ( the righteous inheriting the kingdom )

but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, ( the other group that inherits satans kingdom ) of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

but glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: for there is no respect of persons with God.”

You substituted "tares" for "goats". While on the surface it looks they are identical, the salvation of the wheat is not dependent on their acting in love but believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. The wheat are genuine Christians, while the tares are merely professors or false Christians.

Now notice what is said in Matthew 25:32: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: So this is not about individual believers but about NATIONS and how they treated Christians. But the parable is enigmatic in that it appears to make salvation dependent upon good works. However justification is by grace through faith and not of works lest any man should boast. So this has to be interpreted in that light.

Therefore John Gill has this comment which makes sense: Yet Christian professors seem only here intended, as the following distinction of them, their final state, and the reasons of it show... but then the judge, who is of quick understanding, will easily discern the one from the other; such as have the oil of grace in the vessels of their hearts, together with their lamps, from such as have only the outward visible lamp of a profession, but destitute of the grace of God;

There are many who identify themselves as "Christians" but have not experienced the New Birth. And unless a man is born again he cannot enter nor see the Kingdom of God.

it’s just repetetive teaching about judgement day and the truth that we’re going to be judged on what we actually do . it’s the same throughout the Bible .

“The wheat are genuine Christians, while the tares are merely professors or false Christians.”

right. you see how your saying “ the tares are merely professors or false Christian’s “
What defines these categories you’re talking about ? What they actually do right ?

the ones your calling “false Christian’s “

are the ones who don’t repent and do good they are workers of iniquity servants of the devil his children

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:

whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭

“the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:38-43‬ ‭

It’s just an image of judgement day when Jesus returns to judge the world in righteousness but the real version not the modern day version people invented

It’s repetetively taught each adding some other detail but the judgement remains exactly the same

If your saying “ real Christian’s repent and o ey the lord they love other people in deed and truth “

And “ false Christian’s” go on serving the devils Will by thier works . Then we would agree.

It’s a parable that’s talking about this same judgement

Who will render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: ( children of the kingdom )

but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, ( devils children ) of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:6-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s the same every time

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:( children of the kingdom )

for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:31, 34-36, 40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

note it’s all about what they did loving others

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: ( children of the devil )

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment:

but the righteous into life eternal.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:41, 45-46‬ ‭

The whole doctrine about no one’s going to have to answer for our deeds or that’s not how god is ect ect is all flawed the judgement is laid plan and bare for all to know and it is true Jesus doesn’t tell lies or make up stories

Your right there’s a slight difference it is because , each time adds more details of the same thing that’s really how the entire Bible works it’s called “ apocalyptic literature “

Yhe same spirit was talking about the same things from the beginning I could wuote fofteen different sections of scriptire that teaches the exact same eternal judgement

when your saying “ not real Christian’s or professors only “ what your saying is faith without works is dead being alone

Those who do the "Will" of the Father.
AMEN

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

first he changes our Will turning it against sin that’s why e word speaks so deadly about sin it’s meant to turn us away from it knowing it’s death for certain

then as we learn he teaches us how to walk through this world as his children

What defines these categories you’re talking about ? What they actually do right ?
The parable tells you who are the tares (fake wheat). It is not what they did right. They were sown by the enemy - Satan -- as we see in the letters to the seven churches. But God says let them both grow together until the harvest. 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way....30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

So in all of Christendom, you have genuine believers and false professors, but the false professors almost resemble genuine Christians. The harvest is two-fold and does not take place at the same time. A parable is a parable and should be interpreted in the light of other Scriptures. "First the tares" suggests that judgement comes before the Rapture, but it comes after. So at the Rapture the genuine Christians are "harvested" and taken to Heaven. Later on there is another harvest described in Revelation 14. This is when the tares are dealt with. A lot of people think Revelation 14 is about the Rapture when it is clearly about the wrath of God.

Does anyone know why at the rapture the saved are removed and the unsaved are left behind but in the parable of the tares it is the unsaved which are removed first with the saved left behind.

Yes, because "the Church which is His body" (that's us) to/for/about whom the "Rapture [/caught up - G726]" solely pertains, is not the "WHEAT" harvest. = )

^ Of the TWO mentions of "FIRSTFRUIT" in Lev23, it is the LATTER of these TWO (in v.17) that is associated with the "WHEAT" harvest, and the verse says of it, "TWO loaves" and "baken WITH LEAVEN"... but the Church which is His body (that's us) is described COMPLETELY OPPOSITE to this ;)

[the "WHEAT" harvest is harvested by means of a "tribulum" (harvesting implement); but the earlier harvest is harvested by means of TOSSING UP INTO THE AIR and BLOWING away the chaff; James 1:18 says "a KIND of firsfruit"... agreeing there is MORE THAN ONE "KIND" (associated with their distinct "harvests")]

Hey.. for me its clear He was not talking about the Church for He said the field is the world. In what John He said "Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest".

That's the church.
