However, wholly sanctified (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (kjv)) means that the element of sin is rendered dead so that the person is enabled to walk in holiness and righteousness "all the days of his life" (Luke 1:74-75).
You've just got yourself into an even bigger mess nowThe post has been addressed.
"sinless perfection" is a misnomer that has been applied to the doctrine of entire sanctification as a straw man that is easily toppled by 1 John 1:8.Ive never heard this teaching before. You can be justified in Christ but not born again until you are fully sanctified. Which I assume means, you cannot be born again until you reach sinless perfection
So, are you conscious of committing sin with entire sanctification?"sinless perfection" is a misnomer that has been applied to the doctrine of entire sanctification as a straw man that is easily toppled by 1 John 1:8.
However, the doctrine of entire sanctification does not purport that a man can be made "sinless" so that "he can say that he has no sin" and the truth be in him;
Rather, entire sanctification teaches that the element of sin is rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over our behaviour (Romans 6:14).
For, we are not obligated to obey the flesh (Romans 8:12 (kjv, NLT))....
And, therefore, it is possible to walk consistently, not after the flesh but after the Spirit (Romans 8:4), for an extended period of time; even for the rest of your life (Luke 1:74-75).
How do we know when we have reached entire sanctification in your view. What authoratively tells us"sinless perfection" is a misnomer that has been applied to the doctrine of entire sanctification as a straw man that is easily toppled by 1 John 1:8.

OK, so a person cannot be born again unless they perfectly obey applicable law, which obviously includes ''thou shalt not'' So you are not born again yet are you
If you are alive with Christ, you have been born again:
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. Eph2:5
Yes but to you, the gauge of whether you are born again is if you obey the ten commandments. So obviously to you, the ten must be fully obeyed to be wholly sanctified and thereby be born againThose who are born again have been delivered from the law so that they are no longer bound by the letter but are rather obedient to the spirit of what is written (Romans 7:6, 8:4).
The righteousness of the law is fulfilled in me inasmuch as I walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit (Romans 8:4).
See the context.
Eph 2:1, And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Eph 2:2, Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Eph 2:3, Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Eph 2:4, But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Eph 2:5, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
Eph 2:6, And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:7, That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Eph 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9, Not of works, lest any man should boast.
So, are you conscious of committing sin with entire sanctification?
Or do you commit no sin?
Or are you not conscious of committing sin, when you sin?
Which is it, a preacher would always wish to very plainly state what he believes
How do we know when we have reached entire sanctification in your view. What authoratively tells us
Yes, yes, I am quoting Paul from the initial point someone is made alive with Christ/born again. I agree change is to then comeThose who are born again have been delivered from the law so that they are no longer bound by the letter but are rather obedient to the spirit of what is written (Romans 7:6, 8:4).

If I commit a sin worthy of attention by the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will bring that sin to my attention.

Here's some talking out of both sides of my mouth....Can you talk out of both sides of your mouth, plus top and bottom too?
' Hmmmm
There is nothing in the Torah that says that any of those commandments were "fleshly". That would be absurd, and contrary to the fact that God is a Spirit. Paul also said that the Law is spiritual, so you are simply making things up as you go along. But you have failed to acknowledge that what I have stated is Bible truth.You are telling about God by telling us of the law as given to Moses, law that included commands to practice fleshly commands to guide them to the true law--God is spirit and the true law is spirit of the law
I find it funny that you claim that I have claimed one thing and then you quoted me as claiming the opposite.So you claim to perfectly obey the letter of the law, the letter Paul told born again christians kills, and is the letter of death and condemnation

I think that if your question is, Do you ever violate the letter of the law? Then I would have to say yes.
