Well I am a huge retro NES gamer fan but man is ot hard to choose just 1
"All I wanna do is have some fun.For myself, anything with a good story. A video game with a great story is like a book that you can walk around in and explore all the side stories (or not) as you will.
For parties, something that's not 3D. I know, I know, all the great party games are full 3D these days. But it gives some people motion sickness and they can't join in the fun.
I agree a great story is what makes it that more enjoyable like final fantasy series has been one of my favorite RPGs that and legend of the dragoon the story is what makes those games awesomeFor myself, anything with a good story. Legend of Dragoon... That was an interesting one.I agree a great story is what makes it that more enjoyable like final fantasy series has been one of my favorite RPGs that and legend of the dragoon the story is what makes those games awesome
Yea I can't say I was a squall fan lol my absolute favorite FF games was 6,7,10,15,16Everybody liked Cloud. Nobody liked Squall...
Legend of Zelda, links adventure and link to the past I liked the most ocarina of time was alright just got lost alot major as mask I hated that timer for the moon lol but I always liked the story's but trying to keep track of the time line was a mind boggle lolOh boy, there are so many good ones.
Board Game: Monopoly was my favorite as a kid. Too many to decide now but Scrabble is pretty high on the list.
Card Game: Been playing a lot of Skip-Bo lately. Also noteworthy, I love the solitaire game my mom taught me she calls Michigan. No one else seems to have heard of it, though, which is too bad because it would be a heck of a lot easier to have a virtual version than to physically lay out 52 cards three times and try to reach them all.
Video Game: Civilization. Plus I recently learned that one version's really awesome theme song is actually the Lord's Prayer in Swahili. I played way too much of it in my 20's, though. I have enjoyed Zelda and Fable too but they are just too full of false religion and impurity. In truth the ickiness of the presentation of institutional religion in Fable might be more true to life than we want to think. The Sims used to be good but went off the rails morally to the point that it is now unplayable. Back far enough I liked Lock'n Chase on the Intellivision. Really though, these days I don't actually play any real video games unless my nieces or nephew invite me to join them.
Looks like that would've been a cool one to do I never did play PC games. Although I do remember playing the oregon trail a lot on dos lol Or red alertFun topics: whats your favorite game board, card, or videogame ?
a PC Video Game!
A classic mmorpg anime-toon styled 3.5D PC game that is now only hosted on a private server, it's called Xen Rebirth, from it's previous versions Secret of the Solstice, Xenpic, Xen Online. The game has went through transitions in the development team lately, so at the moment player base is small, but it has fair activity most mornings.
Don't mind the game title, it has nothing to do with "zen" topics. The game just has a red gemstone item that the original game company called a Xen Stone, it is used for boosting character gears. It is a fun game with enjoyable retro graphics.

Once you realized how easy it was to become overpowered in FF8 with the junction system, while keeping your level really low, it just broke the whole game. You could waltz over every enemy in the place.Yea I can't say I was a squall fan lol my absolute favorite FF games was 6,7,10,15,16
Ocarina of time was the one I really loved, though I didn't get to play the one you describe. I played the ones on the first Nintendo too. Not as fancy but not as heavily steeped in paganism. I rather felt disappointed on one of the old ones, though, that you were supposed to go find out the secret path through the forest. Well, wouldn't you know that I found it by accident just by screwing around exploring early on. Rather spoiled it.Legend of Zelda, links adventure and link to the past I liked the most ocarina of time was alright just got lost alot major as mask I hated that timer for the moon lol but I always liked the story's but trying to keep track of the time line was a mind boggle lol
Oh yes, you couldn't have an NES without the Super Mario Bros series. Too bad they didn't have saving back then, though. We would try to leave ours on for hours not to loose our progress. Probably helped wear the thing out sooner.Well when it comes to retro like NES my favorites was
Double Dragon 1&2
Megaman series
Castlevania series
Ninja Gaiden series
Topgun
Teenage mutant ninja turtles series
Super Mario bros series
Mike Tysons punch out
