Hi,

I remember that the genetically-modified salmon was up for vote at the FDA (whether it could be sold without a GMO warning label), but I never heard the outcome. Does anyone know what happened? I'm a little scared to eat salmon until I know.

See, I'm trying to eat healthy, and all the foods that have been "factory farmed" have higher fat content by virtue of the livestock's diet... And I don't want to spend anything extra for salmon over chicken if it's just going to be the same ole story.
 
Just pray. If you let the media and all these people tell you what is good and bad, they might eventually say food is bad and water is famishing. I just pray and eat. May Jesus bless you.
 
If I listened to what the media says about what's good and bad, I'd weigh three hundred pounds and be ready for a coronary!

Honestly, it's been a little hard to get unbiased news about this. Most news reports paint people with reservations about GMO foods as lunatics on the fringe of society, or (at best) worrywarts. I'd just like to know so I can make good food choices, myself. And it's an important concern for me.

Since I went on a restricted-meat/high-veggie/no-white-foods/no-HFCS/little-to-no-processed-foods diet, I've lost 40 pounds, my diabetes has gotten under control, I've doubled my HDL colesterol (the good kind) and drastically reduced my LDL (the bad kind) and total cholesterol, and had fewer bouts with illness.

:) I want to share this with you. Haha. I was just reminded of this:

The Lord TRULY is good and worthy of ALL praise and honor and glory forever!!!!!!!!!!...LOL!!

It is amazing how the Lord teaches us. By his infinite wisdom. When the Lord was discipling me, as he still is, something very amazing happened to me. OH BOY!! Give me some time to tell you about this okay???

Okay, my friend our fleshy lusts are like foods. And sin feeds our fleshy lust. So if we lust after something we hunger after it. HALLELUJAH!! And we drink of our iniquity, like water, and it goes down just as soon. So, our appetites when we were in sin were like wile beasts. We were not containable. We did anything and everything we could without restraint. We were drunkards and gluttons. BUT OH THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD!!!

It is so amazing how the Lord revealed this to me. When my heart was converted my very body lined up with it. I would eat and drink dirty heavy food (physically). But when my heart was changed, the Lord also changed my physical habits. And watch this!!! I CRAVED FISH AND FRUIT!!! HAHAHA. Do you hear?

Really!! i craved fish and fruit. I see these as the freshest foods. My whole appetite changed my friend. MY WHOLE APPETITE!!! May Jesus bless you.

OH AND WATER. PURE WATER!!! PURE LIFE(a Nestle trademark) NO, A JESUS TRADEMARK!!! LOL!!!!
