Why was the promised "land" flowing with milk?

Because it was made of CHEESE!

I'm honestly shocked too.... I started this thread as "mcubed".... but I still "love" my flat earth guy that the article made me think of and smile/ laugh to myself... which made me start this post.... but I have grown to love you all!

Quantity wise I hope it never stops... It's the best thread I ever post as the "both" of me.... lol...lol...

Sounds like part of a pancake recipe. On the plus side, those are flat so as to not offend our flatliner brethren.

Hi all...
I just want to ask something ...I often see the sun in the morning outside my bedroom window , and I look to the right and see the moon...
I was putting my rubbish out a few mornings ago about 9.am and see the moon which was very bright on that cold morning from the front of my house , then when I opened my curtains in the back of the house , the sun was shining...How is it that the two can be seen at the same time...
This is a genuine question , would like to hear some views on this and thank you...xox...

The same as any two things can be seen at the same time. They were both in your field of view... ?

And? Line of sight is straight, and the lunar orbit and earth rotation are not connected so that the moon stays on the dark side of the planet. Some times the planet and the moon and the sun are close to being in line. Which is how an eclipse occurs.

You've never seen the moon out during the day?
My kids are good at point it out to me all the time, they're so good at spotting it lol

This is what I am saying...If the earth was round like a ball , why do I see the sun and moon out at the same time , like they look only miles apart...I can understand it if we live on a flat earth , do you know what I am saying...
When it is morning , and the sun is shining , should the moon not be down under , I know what I mean lol...xox...
 
The moon is above the horizon about 12 out of 24 hours a day because of the earths rotation; is why.

Normally, to see the sun and moon at the same time would still be possible on a ball-Earth. The sun and moon are not always directly opposite each other, with respect to the Earth.

However, during a lunar eclipse, it should not be possible. A lunar eclipse is explained in ball-Earth theory by the sun, Earth and moon being at 180 degrees to each other (i.e. in a straight line). If this were true, it should be totally impossible for anyone ever to see the sun and moon during a lunar eclipse. It is a rare sight, but it does happen enough for the phenomenum to get its own name - a selenelion.

The selenelion, in my view, invalidates the ball-Earth theory of eclipses, and puts ball-Earth theory in the same category as flat-Earth theory when it comes to explaining eclipses (i.e. there isn't a satisfactory one). Ball-Earthers go on to claim the reason that both sun and moon can be seen at the same time is atmospheric diffraction, but there's no proof of this claim, it seems to be just a catch-all excuse for every observation that directly contradicts (i.e. falsifies) ball-Earth theory.

To be honest , I know nothing about how things work , I just know God created everything , I am so happy that Salvation does not depend on weather we believe the earth to be flat or round , but when pictures are put in front of me , I can understand more from the flat earth pictures then the ball...xox...

It is incredibly easy for flat Earth people to prove their claim, if it were true. Being the reject outside photography, they could do their own.
For less than the cost of all the rent they pay for convention centers for their conventions. One weather balloon, one go pro camera, one GPS tracker, one trip to prairie country, post pics on line.

They don't do this simple experiment because they don't want empirical evidence. They like the delusion.
