you know, the structure of the flat-earther's argument is pretty much

the earth is flat
anything that proves that the earth is round, refer to the "dome"

hence their argument is structured like an unbreakable dome

your eyes want to simplify things, failure to see curve and make it look straight even though it's curved

hence, an optical illusion from your brain to think the horizon is flat, but it's not
 
you mind as well mention spreading ther gospel to the four corners of the earth, if there are such things as "corners of the earth"
