Yeah... With this forum it seems there is no browser that is free of complications.Okay,
So I installed Firefox just so I could use the reaction emojis here on CC, like that is the only reason I installed firefox. I'm not liking the firefox search engine layouts or anything about it and if it wasn't for the emojis I would uninstall it.
Now I'm having trouble using it even on CC.
The reaction emojis work just fine; however, I can not use anything on the tool bar other than the GIF icon and the toggle cog.
I can't figure out how to, I guess "untoggle".
If the attach file button works I will post an image of what it looks like for me.
Strangly, the first few times I used firefox here it wasn't like this
Oh, and also, when I try to click on toggle button or giphy, nothing happens.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success in fixing it either.
I get lost and confused in all the tech things like settingsI am thinking it has to do with the settings on your Chrome Book
Can you check your permissions?
mine is not touch screenOh, her Chromebook is a touchscreen too?
This can complicate things further.
mine is not touch screen
that's very kind of you, thank you.I don't know how much time you want to spend troubleshooting this and how urgent this is for you, but i can try to help you.

Ah Ha! just got my new (to me) laptop and I am using google chrome (as on my previous device) for the browser; however, now my reactions seem to be workingthat's very kind of you, thank you.
It's okay though, having it work or not is not worth the time commitment for me right now.
I am hoping to get a new laptop soon anyway; maybe then I'll put more time into getting things to work
Glad to hear that problem is solved! I had the same problem about a month ago. However, it went away with a windows update. I believe that this is a MS Windows update problem and not a problem with the browser itself. Maybe you are missing an update on your old laptop.Ah Ha! just got my new (to me) laptop and I am using google chrome (as on my previous device) for the browser; however, now my reactions seem to be working![]()
Doesn't explain why it happened on phones too, though.Glad to hear that problem is solved! I had the same problem about a month ago. However, it went away with a windows update. The problem affects browsers that are based on Google Chrome. Like Microsoft edge.Doesn't explain why it happened on phones too, though.
I understand that. The person I quoted said it was a Windows issue, not a browser issue. The problem affects browsers that are based on Google Chrome. Like Microsoft edge.
Oh I see.I understand that. The person I quoted said it was a Windows issue, not a browser issue.
Your windoze update also updated edge. That passed along the Chrome update which fixed the problem.Glad to hear that problem is solved! I had the same problem about a month ago. Just to let the members here know, I'm being blocked from replying to my own threads.
I haven't been able to reply to this thread for almost a week. I had to contact Roboop to try and find out why. I was never given a reason.
Now I'm locked out from posting on the Christianity in a nutshell thread, no reason.
Can a moderator tell me what's going on?
