My name is Marco, Im 29 years old
And I struggle with substance abuse and mental health issues. Mostly anxiety. I feel like a mess. I feel stuck and dont know how to get out of this cycle Im in. I know for sure it needs lots of effort on my end. But prayer is powerful too. So if anyone can pray for me. That'd be very much appreciated. God bless you all.

Praying for you @Marco713

As an ex alcoholic, drug using, sex fiend, who still has mental health issues, I can relate.

Hang in there. God sees you and knows what you are going through. You aren’t alone.

John 3 verse 16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Promises.png

If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are half way through. We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness. We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it. We will comprehend the word serenity and we will know peace. No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others. That feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear. We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows. Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole attitude and outlook upon life will change. Fear of people and of economic insecurity will leave us. We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us. We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves. Are these extravagant promises? We think not. They are being fulfilled among us — sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They will always materialize if we work for them. The Promises from the Big Book of AA Chapter 6.

You know the Lord Jesus Christ, you know His good message?

In that case you died. You must realise that what you did yesterday is not who you are today. John 5:24.

What was is not real, it is gone, it has been forgotten and forgiven. Be still and know I AM. Exodus 3:14-15. Uncountable amounts of people have been freed by the authority of this name.

Your anxiety is a lie. I don't say this to say you haven't felt what you have, but that whatever you think that leads to that feeling, that's the lie. The accuser is a liar, his time is almost up, so don't worry, pay no attention and give him nothing.

Do not fear, and do not even believe that much effort is needed to overcome any problem. It is not, that is also a lie by the accuser, it is him saying he is strong, when in fact he is weak! Isaiah 41:10

There is a reason why Christ's strength is strongest at our weakest. Because when we think we are weak, it is the accuser we hear saying you are weak, but, if the accuser needs to tell us that, he is worried. Like I said, his time is so very nearly up and he is panicking, so at this point all you need to do is ignore those lies and listen to the strength of Christ. 2 Corinthians 12:9

I promise you that addictions can be defeated instantly, know that the LORD Jesus Christ is with you, and nothing can be against you if your pursuit is to do good, because He is the source of good! And if you want to do good, then you hear Him and with Him nothing stands in your way!

I feel you all to well Marco. I will pray for you. Your post helps me realize I am not alone. Together we can fight the good fight. I'm there with you. God Bless You!
