The Hatch Act provided the persons below the policy-making level in the executive branch of the federal government must not only refrain from political practices that would be illegal for any citizen, but must abstain from "any active part" in political campaigns, using this language to specify those who are exempt:
  • (i) an employee paid from an appropriation for the Executive Office of the President; or
  • (ii) an employee appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, whose position is located within the United States, who determines policies to be pursued by the United States in the nationwide administration of Federal laws.

James Comey was doing his job, nothing political.
 
A senator is calling for Hillary's security clearance to be revoked... Why didn't anyone think of that?! That should be a no-brainer!

Also, someone who was close to the original email investigation said the FBI should have gotten a search warrant when they found out about the private servers and they should have seized them immediately because they knew they could have classified info on them, but none of that was done. Instead they gave Hillary plenty of time to delete whatever she wanted to.

I assure you ZT, the lack of law enforcement above only applies to 1% or less of the population that holds a security clearance.
 
I heard on the radio news break that the FBI has agents working overlapping double shifts reading the emails. Perhaps we might get an update from Comey by the end of the week.

And why isn't the main stream media reporting it? Probably because they know they will get sued for slander and libel and lose if they do.
 
If Trump was a drinker or drug abuser I might be inclined to believe it.
 
the FBI sent -another- letter to congress today...this time it says they have completed their 'reopened' email investigation and their conclusions from july have not changed...there will be no charges...hillary clinton walks...again...

this outcome should have been expected...in fact some of us did expect it...for example see post #38 on this thread a week ago... and yet there was a virtual groundswell of wishful thinking and desperate fantasies from the republican side for an entire week...stories of intrigues and internal FBI revolts that didn't happen or came to nothing...wild speculations and false hopes about the outcome...to hear the trump supporters talk you would have thought the FBI director was riding in on a white horse to save the nation from hillary clinton...

it was foolish for the republicans to think obama's FBI would bail them out of the trouble they got themselves into by nominating the worst presidential candidate in history...

'hillary exonerated'...just in time for the sunday evening news...and barring any further major developments...dominating the news cycle for the next two days until election day...

the democrats ran circles around the republicans once again...it's true that the republican machine can't compare with the democrat machine's corruption...but at -least- the republicans should have learned to expect it by now...

when you run a johnny one note campaign...it's easy for you to get played...
 
Too bad Comey hasn't closed the Clinton Foundation investigation yet.
