My friends and I have a disclaimer before that game (as well as many others...) that anything we say during the game, we don't actually mean. For example, "Mandy, NO!!! I HAD that one, I hate you, you jerk!!"

It can get intense. :p

I love it already!!

I don't know if it's the game you're talking about, but I've played something like that, we called it Indian Poker (no clue why, just what we heard it was called). Each person holds up a card to their forehead, and you either stay in or, based on what other cards you see on other people, you fold. But, you don't know what card is on your forehead, obviously, so it's a guess.

My family and I would play that around a campfire while camping since you don't need that much light or a table or anything. Good times. :)

There was a game I use to play, in a store I worked in, called Yote. It was similar to checkers. I haven't seen a game board for that in years.

That game is awesome. Played it at the game store, and a couple times at an old friend's house. I would buy it in a heartbeat if it weren't for the fact that the people I game with now don't want to play for more than an hour or so. That kind of limits the games I buy. Boardgamegeek is super helpful because it lists the average times it takes to play each game.

Agricola, Puerto Rico, other similarly complicated games. (not minding struggle of empires atm but doubting others have played it.

Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne.

Poker (HAS to be with at least some real money, otherwise people play like clowns and it is so boring)

Do enjoy a lot of euro games in general. :)
