Please share your stories of faith and what that word really means.
Hello Jago, and welcome to CChat
You asked what I believe to be a very important question
(what does the word "faith" really mean and in what ways has it touched our lives?), but like
@Subhumanoidal &
@TabinRivCA just mentioned, it's a question that should be asked again on a different board than this one. If you decide to do so, try this board instead:

Quickly however, I agree with
@TabinRivCA &
@Adstar, that faith involves more than simply believing ~in~ God, it also involves ~believing Him~, so much so, in fact, that we willingly choose to surrender the reins of our lives to Him, believing/trusting that He loves us and always wants the very best for us .. e.g.
John 3:16, and that He always knows what is best for us too, ~far~ better than we could ever hope to ourselves.
We also trust that He will fulfill all of the wondrous promises that He made to us in the Bible (especially concerning our salvation), ones like He makes to us here ..
John 5:24; Romans 10:9-10, and that He is always both willing and able to do so .. cf
Romans 4:20-21 (see below).
Here is a short article that may prove to be helpful to you,
What is Saving Faith?
Again, welcome aboard, and may God bless you in your search for Him.

Romans 4
20 With respect to the promise of God, he [Abraham] did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,
21 and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
