EZEKIEL 28:25-29:21

The prophet speaks through the Holy Spirit and affirms that even though Israel has been scattered throughout the countries of the world, they will be returned to their land in the future, it is already happening, Israel was recognized as a nation in 1948, and since then, the people have been returning.

One positive thing to dwell upon is the Jewish people made known to the nations of the ONE GOD, Adonai-Elohim-YHVH” and through the migration of the Jewish peoples to different parts of the world, we now have the Ashkenazim, Sephardim, Falashim, people groups which make up most to the Jewish peoples today. These people groups have introduced many varieties of foods, customs, and ways of worship in today's Judaism, many are also Messianic believers.

Bad news for Egypt, just as the Israelites were scattered among the nations, the Egyptians will also be scattered among the nations for 40 years. Egypt will be desolate and peopleless for this period, which will probably happen during the millennium. The Egyptian people will return after that time, but Egypt will never be prosperous. Since the fall of Egypt after the time of Passover, Egypt was conquered by the Babylonians, the Greeks, and Romans. Even today, Egyptians live in many countries, but Egypt has never been left completely without people and animals, at least not yet.

Yet a good note to ponder on, Egypt opened its doors to receive young Yeshua with Mary, and Joseph when they were fleeing from Herod. There are quite a few believers in Egypt today, making up the “Coptic Church”

MATT 24:1-51

Yeshua tells his disciples about the “end times” and we all know and have read this chapter, of “wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, etc. As we look around today, we can be certain that we are living in these “end times” for sure, yet the end is not yet...we still have a way to go. We have heard of many “false-Messiahs” leaders claiming to be “Jesus” yet we know better than believing on them. When Yeshua returns, the “Whole World” will see him returning, what will modern satellite cameras, etc.

Verse 15 is interesting; It talks about the “Abomination of Desolation” set up in the “Holy Place” in the Third Temple. This takes us back to Hanukkah, reminding us of Antiochus Epiphanes, who set up a “Statue of Zeus” in the Holy Place. The future Anti-Messiah, a second “Antiochus” will also set up a statue, perhaps of himself, and command all to bow down and worship it.

Verse 30 talks about the “Sign of the Son of Man (Ben Adam) shall appear in the Heavens, and all the tribes (peoples) of the earth will mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with all power. We might ask ourselves, what is this sign? It must be visible since all will see it. Some might say the “Star of David” but that existed even before the formation of the Nation of Israel in Egypt. Many believe it will be the cross, the instrument of suffering and death, but for us, the sign of salvation from our sins.

Yet why do the peoples of the earth mourn? Should they not be joyous of Messiah’s coming? Happy that the tribulation will end and HIS kingdom established? One thought is that those “peoples” might be the unredeemed, the lost that follow the Anti-Christ. They know that their end is near and that their leader will be vanquished and thrown into the fires of hell. They also fear for their fate as well. Yet many will remain alive on earth and will have to subject themselves to Messiah’s millennial rule, like it or not. What an opportunity for them to accept Messiah Yeshua with all heart and willingly submit themselves to HIS rule.

We, as believers, will return with him. We are his servants and we must be around and occupied with the Master’s work, HIS work is to share the “Good News” of Salvation with all who are willing to hear, and to teach HIS Word to those who wish to learn it and apply it to their lives, thus is the work of Torah teachers and Sunday School teachers, pastors, rabbis, missionaries, etc…

The gospel will be preached to the whole world, which is happening now, we need to be ready for his return, those of us who are alive will be gathered together as well as those who have gone on before us and who are now in heaven, we will be ONE FAMILY and share life in the Millennial Kingdom of Yeshua and for all eternity.

Knowing that Yeshua is returning soon, we should do as much as we can to witness to others. Introducing the gospel to those who have ears to hear, who want to hear. We can hand out gospel tracts, there are "online missionaries" who reach out to the lost and to those who want to learn more about Jesus and the Bible. (example) GMO (Global Media Outreach). I have been part of that outreach for the past 7 years (in Spanish). We should measure our time wisely. Time is short, what we do now for the LORD will echo throughout eternity.

Nice summery, great work. I'm following you up to this point, but...
Why are we skipping the next part?
You stopped at 30.
What about -
32 “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, cat the very gates. 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

We just skip here when he says to THEM "Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until ALL these things take place."
Jesus looks THEM in the eyes and says "Truly" (FOR SURE THIS IS THE TRUTH) I tell you this generation (not "that") will not pass away before ALL these things take place. (everything I just said) So everything you just wrote He said would "for sure" take place before that generation passed. Why leave this part out?

The disciples asked Jesus 3 distinct questions in Matthew 24:3 after he said the temple would be utterly destroyed .
  • When will the temple be destroyed? (We know this to be 70AD)
  • What will be the sign of your coming? (We know this to be future)
  • What will be the sign of the end of the age? (if the end of the age of Judah, then 70AD; if the end of the age of the nations, then the future)
So Jesus' answers span a period of 2000 years. Most people who don't see this project everything Jesus said in that chapter into the future, when in reality most of it was fulfilled in 70AD

You just added every bit of this to what He said. Jesus said NONE of this. He said to them "this" generation. You're adding to scripture to come to this conclusion plain and simple.

But when he said "this generation" which question(s) was Jesus referring to? They asked 3 distinct questions that obviously have different time fulfillments.

He meant the generation of the people who's eyes he was looking into saying it to.

Look, I'm honestly not trying to debate or "convince" you here. I was just asking why they stopped at that verse, then to you was pointing out that you were adding to scripture in order to make it fit your view. I mean I think it's pretty obvious who Jesus was talking to here and what generation He meant. I'm weary of any belief that kind of makes us add to scripture in order to "get it". This is just my opinion and I am defiantly not going to get into a "convincing contest" with you.

I believe the truth His Spirit leads me to, and I also assume you do as well. I trust the Spirit to lead me to all truth, and I believe He works in you the same way. I understand what you believe very well and disagree with it, as I suspect you do as well on the flip side, so I don't really want to just argue pointlessly.

I 100% believe that the saved man can believe either one and still be saved, so although I believe truth is first and foremost in all those born again by His grace and power, I also KNOW someone whose saved in truth can believe either one of these. I did. Same thing with losing salvation. I used to believe we could lose our salvation while I was saved, and now believe that we cannot lose salvation. So I have to concede that a real life, born of Spirit believer can hold either one of these views, so do not find these subjects worth the endless infighting back and forth doing nothing but disgracing Jesus name.

This is something I'm really trying to work on in myself, especially here on CC. Jesus says we are to be known by our love for each other, and looking back at how I've been on this site makes me feel very convicted regarding this. So while I do respect you and your right to this belief, the fact is that you HAVE to "bring to the text" in order to get to it. The view that needs the most charts, timelines, graphs, and gurus to explain to us what the plain text clearly says, the more skeptical I become of it, the view that fit's the text, as a whole, the best without having to be "educated" by others on what it "really means", the closer to the meaning I think we find ourselves.

I'm not disagreeing over who Jesus was talking to. Obviously he meant the people he was speaking to. But what question(s) was he referring to when he said the people he was speaking with would see it happen? The destruction of the temple? His coming? The end of the age?

Speaking of Egypt which this event happens in the Tribulation around the middle of the 7.

Dan 11:42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall follow in his train

3 questions

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, 1) when shall these things be? and 2) what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and 3) [what shall be the sign] of the end of the age? Matthew 24:1-3
