In what ways have you found to be successful in evangelism?
I think that would depend upon how one defines success. Jesus and the prophets received direct instruction from God, and their messages were pretty regularly rejected.

We do not count success by counting the harvest, we count success in the process of the labor.

1 Corinthians 15:58
New International Version
58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

So Good Advice in my view from Got Questions

https://www.gotquestions.org/evangelize-friends-family.html
How can I evangelize my friends and family without pushing them away?

At some point, every Christian has had a family member, a friend, co-worker, or acquaintance who is not a Christian. Sharing the gospel with others can be difficult, and it can become even more difficult when it involves someone with whom we have close emotional ties. The Bible tells us that some people will be offended at the gospel (Luke 12:51–53). However, we are commanded to share the gospel, and there is no excuse for not doing so (Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15).

So, how can we evangelize our family members, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances?
The most important thing we can do is pray for them.

Pray that God would change their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:4).
Pray that God would convince them of His love for them and their need for salvation through Jesus Christ (John 3:16).
Pray for wisdom as to how to best minister to them (James 1:5).

We must be willing and bold in our actual sharing of the gospel. Proclaim the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to your friends and family (Romans 10:9–10). Always be prepared to speak of your faith (1 Peter 3:15), doing so with gentleness and respect. There is no substitute for personally sharing the gospel: “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17).

In addition to praying and sharing our faith, we must also live godly Christian lives in front of our friends and family members so they can see the change God has made in us (1 Peter 3:1–2).

Ultimately, we must leave the salvation of our loved ones up to God. It is God’s power and grace that saves people, not our efforts. The best we can do is pray for them,
witness to them, and
live the Christian life in front of them.
It is God who gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6).

I say

Jesus clearly states that no one comes to Him unless the Father Draws them -----God the Father has to change their hardened heart to a soft acceptable heart to receive the gospel ----the Gospel will not penetrate and inbirth God's Faith in them without Fist having their heart changed ----

Anyone that God the Father Draws ---by changing their hard heart to a receptive heart will receive the Gospel that is being preached -and have the Saving Faith inbirthed in them needed to accept God's free gift of Salvation --The Holy Spirit is the only one who knows who has had that heart change and who has been drawn by the Father -------that is why Preachers need to make their Sermons by and through the direction of the Holy Spirit and not through their own choice of picking their own Sermons from their head or the man made lectionary----they need to Pray for the Holy Spirit's involvement in making up their Sermon -----and rely on God's direction not this world's direction -----

People don't trust the main steam Religions any more as the preachers are say one thing and act like a demon ----they are like the Pharisees ---whitewashed on the outside and filthy on the inside ----

They talk the talk but don't Walk the Talk they speak ---what is the Priest --Minister doing in the booth in the back --in the Dark -----when the Service is over ----
-and today most Ministers do not Have the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit ----they are flying on their own mind set -----preaching half truths which is a lie --sugarcoating Scripture and twisting scripture to suit their own agenda ---

Children have been terribly abused by their so Called Godly Priest --Minister etc ----- and people are not trusting their Pastors anymore ---- they are a bunch of Hypocrites and people know this ---

Actions Speak LOUDER THAN WORDS -when preaching God's word to others ----Just My View ------

AI Overview

The disciples of Jesus won people over through their actions, which were characterized by bold faith, unwavering commitment, and a willingness to live out their beliefs, even in the face of opposition. Their actions, more than just words, demonstrated the power of the Gospel and inspired others to follow Jesus.

Can you preach without the Holy Spirit?

Preaching is no more than hot air without the Spirit of God.
Remember, with Paul, preaching wasn't an explanation of the power of God,
it was a demonstration of the power of God.
If you are relying on the Spirit of God in your preaching, there will be a demonstration of God's power.

Can you understand the Bible without the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit lives in Christians and gives us spiritual eyes to understand and love the Bible.
“But the person without the Spirit does not receive what comes from God's Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually” (1 Cor. 2:14).

I say --So we see that any Clergy without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit cannot Preach the Spiritual truth of the Gospel to their flock ----as they themselves do not nor can they understand the Spiritual truth of the Gospel -----and so their Preaching is Fruitless to them and their flock -----

From Google

Can a church function without the Holy Spirit?

Without the Holy Spirit and God's people hungering and thirsting after the righteousness only he can impart, the church is powerless, useless, and hopeless.

In what ways have you found to be successful in evangelism?

That's an excellent question that I think I already addressed , but want to add something I was reminded of in my email.

A church is doing a fundraiser for a playground on church property.

I don't have time now to look up and quote the statement of use right now.
To summarize it's to connect with the community and lead others to Christ.
I'm all for any way we can reach the lost in the most novel and creative ways. I will say amen to the vision of this church I love and contributed to for a long time.

I looked at the proposed budget and saw it was over $1,000,000. At lot can be done with a million dollars.
My background is outreach and evangelism. I've been able to accomplish by the grace of God, a lot with a little. An evangelist with a reliable vehicle, good camper to live in without worrying about fixing it constantly, travel/ living expenses would be a small fraction of the million plus dollars in donations.

What could he do with that?

1. Train soul winners to be effective in leading the lost to Christ.
2. Travel to other churches to spread the vision.
3. Spread the gospel to those communities, especially to those closest to death.
4. Advisory role on how the ancillary projects can be turned into effective evangelizing programs.
