Hi! Does anyone out there use essential oils? If so, what do you use them for? Do you use them on your body or in foods? What do you think of them? Do they work?

Thanks.

Awhile back, a lady at work lent me a little tube of it. I think it was some variation of lavender. She told me to put a few drops in my bath water. I hadn't taken a bath since I was a small child, just showered. She recommended me to do this while I smoke a cigar and drink some beer. I had been stressed. It made the bath smell very nice. After I put some in the bath water, I put a drop on my finger to check out the viscosity. I ended up burning the hades out of my man parts some time after that.
I think essential oils are meant to be heated in a burner to add aroma to the air.

You can also use them to keep bugs away. You can use peppermint, lavender, sage, etc... Just put drops of oil into a spraybottle and fire away.

you might want to google which ones work on which bugs.

Thanks for asking this question
I want to know also
It just might be very helpful

They work if you get the right ones. The ones that work are more expensive though. The other ones will not work. Doterra and Young Living are two brands that will produce results.
I was a distributor for Young Living for about 8 years. I have been using them for 15 years.
They can help with a lot of maladies. I can attest to this.

You have to be careful with them. A lot of them will burn the skin.
I would never diffuse them in water. Just get a diffuser that diffuses only the oils themselves.

Essential oils and herbs and flowers are Gods medicines. Those in conjunction with a good diet (which most people have no real idea of what that actually is) and some other modalities. like hyperbaric chamber therapy, Ozone therapy, vibrational lasars, and infrared saunas, Miror EPF, and probiotics and proteolytic enzymes, to name a few, can work wonders in regressing and even eliminating many diseases. Better in many cases than with conventional western therapies and with way fewer side effects. In some instances, almost none in fact.

This is a cute vid. Millennial do have a host of issues (but every generation has issues). They get bashed all the time, but not much attention goes to the generation of parents who created those Millennials. Their helicopter parenting (and other bad practices) created these child-like adults.

What? Do not use essential oils in food! They are for external use only according to every bottle and book I ever saw

Oh. that being said, and this will sort of be a contraindication of what I just said :p

Some "aroma therapy" products are so diluted that people testing it have not found as much as a trace of the substance they are supposed to be made up of (so make sure you don't waste your money)

I love essential oils. I use them for soap making, aromatherapy, skin care, insect repellant, headaches, allergies and so on.. One of my favorites is lavender oil. I add a few drops to the rinse cycle when washing my bed sheets to help me sleep. It's really important to make sure you buy 100% pure oils or your just wasting your money.

Every generation of parents helped form their children... since the world began. So what? It is up the adult children to stand on their own two feet in society. They're not babies at home anymore.

That is correct --- some of them are babies out in society now...

I copied this from another post in another thread some time ago:

There was a webinar I saw on essential oils. Although we haven’t learned to use very much in the past, I am learning what I can, for they are very good at reversing disease as well as boosting our energy. I understand most medicine was taken from essential oils. Aspirin was also originally from the willow tree. It is said there are more than 300 essential oil references in the Bible, where kings and queens were anointed using these, given by the Magi as gifts, and used by Queen Esther. Hippocrates also prescribed them over 2000 yrs ago.

I understand they are 10-70 x the concentration in plants also. High in therapeutic compounds, these are small and can pass into the cell walls. They can destroy viruses and pathogenic bacteria, and gentle on the body too. I have used some before, like lavender and wintergreen, but know i/we’ve been missing a lot on this, not having grown up w/ them.

We grow mint so I tried making my own peppermint oil, it was a failure. It was fun trying but I'll stick to buying it now.

You need a ton of whatever herb or food (like lemon peel) or other plants (in this case peppermint) to make even a little bit of oil.

Unless you have acres of land, patience, and the proper processing/extraction equipment, yeah, just buy them.
