If you are not teaching the truth on the rapture, then what else are you not teaching the truth on. Jesus thought it essential enough to teach on.
2Ti 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
2Ti 2:17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
2Ti 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
Some people believe the saints will be gone before the tribulation which they believe is 7 years.
But really it is the last three and one half years of the 7 years.
If they are wrong then it is going to overthrow the faith of some people and they will follow the world and the antichrist.
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The saints will not be gathered unto Christ until the man of sin claims to be God.
Which happens in the middle of the 7 years period.
Which salvation is available to the world during the first three and one half years so the saints will remain on earth to represent the truth.
And when they take the mark of the beast in the middle of the 7 years then salvation is no longer available to the world.
Then the resurrection will happen.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
But then the beast makes war against the saints and overcomes them.
And they are given in to his hands for three and one half years.
And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Which then comes the end when the Son shall deliver the kingdom up to God and then He will put down the world.
When the resurrection happens it is the end and the heathen do not continue anymore.
The is why the resurrection cannot be before the 7 years or in the middle because the heathen continue.
God is giving the world 7 years to have their way and go against the truth so He can end sin on earth.
If the saints are not on earth for the 7 years then how did the world go against the truth.
1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.
2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The new age that interprets the Bible and religions according to the occult and evolution, and people are going to evolve to be spiritual, and greater, and Jesus became an ascended master among others, and there is no personal God, but they honor the God of forces the power of nature, and the New Age Christ is the next world teacher.
The time will come that people will not want to hear the truth of the Bible but want to hear it according to the new age.
When the resurrection does not happen before the 7 years or in the middle it will overthrow the faith of some people and they will follow the new age interpretation of the Bible.
Will the people that preached before and middle be held accountable.
