Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

So how did he do it, where/how did Enoch get his faith so strong that God could not wait for him to physically die but took him?

Enoch was a witness for God, he believed, and because he believed, that pleased God very much. Being in the mist of a corruptible world that he had plans to destroy. Noah was the last descendant of Adam ,and he too was a man of God. These two walked closer to God than any others. They knew him and God communed with them daily. He was not going to commune with anyone that did not want to spend time and get to know him.

How did Peter walk on water.
How did Paul raise the dead.
How did Daniel escape the Lions den in his 70's to 80's
How did the three young Hebrew boys keep from being roasted alive.
How did Paul keep from dying with the snake bite.
How did Stephen pray to forgive those stoning him to death while they stoned him to death.
How did Jesus pray Father forgive them they know not what they do.
How did Hannah bear a son with a closed womb.
How did Job keep from sinning with his lips.
How did Elijah raise the widows son.
How did.....
How did.....
How did.....

The answer....FAITH.....the just shall live and walk by faith.....Enoch was a man of faith..............great faith.

You mean you want to learn a method to fly off to heaven without dying? ;)

Enoch didn't do it. God took him. Just walk with God as closely as you can, see what happens.

What 300 years is not enough time? The Bible does not tell us why Enoch got Raptured (same Word Harpozo)

I would like to ask what you meant by the highlighted statement above? WE are all descendants of Adam!

It was not that God couldn't wait, but He obviously had plans for Enoch.

Hebrews 11:6 the apostle said, "But without faith it is impossible
to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

So He obeyed God, and followed Him in His paths by faith.
Amos the prophet said: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"

Paul tells us: Abel, Enoch, Noah, and the patriarchs and their wives. Heb 11:1-12
lists those who had faith and Enoch is included among them. Then in verse 13 Paul
proved that they had not inherited the promises by saying:

"These all [including Enoch] died in faith."

I thank you all for you replies……… helpful

Faith………we are all on this forum because we believe
The difference between believers today and Enoch, was Enoch did not have a Bible or a Church
The first written Word was through Moses, thousands of years after.
The scripture states: Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
The term “walked” the previous time this word was used was in: Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
I do realise you can associate “walk with Faith” but the question is did Adam and Eve have Faith in God?
I do love a mystery, this is the reason why one can never tire of His Word. When you think you got it all work out, God throws in a spanner to bring you down to your knees and study His Word
Praise the Lord

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Since no scripture is of any private interpretation, it could be that the reference that 'and he was not' is referring unto his being consumed by the LORD. (See 2 Thess 2:8)

For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. Deut 4:24

'and he was not' OT:369 'ayin (ah'-yin); as if from a primitive root meaning to be nothing or not exist; a non-entity; generally used as a negative particle:

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and bodyin hell. Matt 10:28

So how did he do it, where/how did Enoch get his faith so strong that God could not wait for him to physically die but took him?

Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: Deut 9:3

There are many believers out there...The biggest problem I see is that the Majority of them are believing in another Gospel than the One Paul tells us we need. 1 Cor 15:1-4 Many billions of believers will be left behind when Jesus Catches them up like He did Enoch, etc.

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

They received (divine) GRACE through FAITH!

Just like we do!

By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death,
and he was not found, because God had taken him.
11:5

There is more than one death mentioned in the Bible.
There is a first death, and there is a second death (Rev. 20:6).

The first death is appointed unto men (Heb. 9:27). That death cannot
be humanly evaded. It is inevitable, and that death Enoch died.

But Paul was not writing about that death. The phrase "should not see"
is in the conditional tense of the verb, having reference to a future event.

It is not in the past tense, that he "did not see" death - but that he
"should not see death." So this death that Enoch escaped by being
translated is one that he can escape in the future on certain conditions!

In John 8:51 Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my
saying, he shall never see death" - shall never see - that is, suffer - the
second death! And again in John 11:26, "Whosoever liveth and believeth
in me shall never die" - or "shall not die forever."
-

And Enoch will be in the first resurrection because he met the conditions!
The second death shall never touch Enoch, because of his faith and obedience.

God took him physically away from the people, just as He later took Moses.
And God buried each so well that neither has ever been found since!

I think this absolutely proves that the rapture is a possibility.
