End times

And yet you are scoffing at those who discuss end time events? You can't have it both ways.

Of course, the fact that Christ will literally establish the Kingdom of God on earth after His second coming goes well beyond "end time events" (primarily divine judgments). But the Gospel of the Kingdom of God must include the fact that those end time events are not the end but a prelude to God's eventual purpose, which is to establish the New Heavens and the New Earth "wherein dwelleth righteousness" (which ties into Daniel 9:24).

So everything needs to be kept in balance and proper focus. And the PRIMARY reason for the Church on earth is to bring the true and full Gospel to "every creature", and then help every new believer to grow in Christ (Mark 16:15,16; Matthew 28:18-20).
 
last i knew, this is a DEBATE/Discussion Board. it is a PLACE for ALL things Bible related to be discussed. Since i have been here we've discussed roughly 20 of the existing 30 Doctrines, the meanings of Scripture, and personal views.

it's literally impossible for anyone, on these forums, whom participates in these discussions, to be literally obsessed.

unless, they only participate in specific discussions, like 4 here and their obsession over OSAS.

other than that, it's wide open participation by everyone.

remember, this is a DEBATE FORUM.

a place for things, ALL things Bible related/God related to be discussed.

As I have stated several times before on this thread. I began eschatology studies in 1985. I still study and teach. My thread deals with extreme behavior, not with a responsible knowledge and watching for our savior. I have no trust in any earthly credentials because I am not here to debate. I am here to exhort and encourage my family in Christ.
P.s. I use end time passages in my tracts here in Mexico

it becomes a debate if someone disagrees with you.
no one disagreed that what you said is fact.
we just added, look at where we are right now in God's Timing.
we should be working according to that Timeline.

we're in the middle of the Great Falling Away.
Christians adopting Same Sex theologies
Christians letting SIN be a part of the Church
Christians leaving God

Jesus, in Revelation Chapters 1-3 did not Encourage the Believers, He told them, ship up or I am getting rid of you.

we're at the beginning's of the End, encouraging a Believer, now knee deep in their Sin and Comfortable, seems like the opposite thing to be doing.

but for the Sinners, who never knew God, they NEED the Gospel.

I agree that few hypocrites will convert, however it is our job to correct brothers who err. As for evangelistic work, I give a pretty strong message, most have already accepted the "Christ is a lonely puppy", message. Thank you for your open attitude

Sounds like you are baiting people. To what end? To provoke (the noun form of your word)? It seems to me that the definition of trolling applies more to you than to anyone else here.

My understanding is that trolling applies to someone who posts or comments online to ‘bait’ people, which means deliberately provoking an argument or emotional reaction.

Therefore, just remember, we learn just as much about you by what you post as you learn about us.

I'm not reading with any kind of Bias - I have read the whole thread and you seem to be backing up now from a hard-line perspective that you articulated in the beginning that studying escatology is just a waste of time. It's right here in black and white!

Let's look at the thread.
It begins with a conditional statement.
For those that..... And then goes on to list behaviors. If one does not do the following things, the post is not relevant to them.
Then the post says you may want to drop these things, not you must drop these things. What things? Excessive things. This is determined by the earlier words in the post. Then it says you MAY find yourself answering for wasted time. How was this time wasted? On excessive things, addiction, not responsible watching. If you can't understand the simple and consistent structure of this post, how will you discern God's word?
