3 The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying,

There was never a time in eternity past when the Lord did not love those of us who are His :) As Spurgeon said, "everlasting love shall be the pillow for my head this night". ~Morning & Evening, Evening, Feb 27th

Proverbs 6:26
"For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread"


It "encourages" me to keep away from naughty women.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight

THIS one is huge because as humans we think we know everything and are always searching for a full understanding NOW.

This can give anyone a sense of peace when we encounter situations beyond our control.

Ha Ha....a good one....Essentially, the evil spirit inside us wants them to give in to us but, the good spirit wants resistance......The part of the journey to the right one for each of us.

I love just rereading that scripture over and over. Every time it makes me feel like I am at church camp, where the Spirit of God is everywhere and everyone is literally a live wire connected to God. That verse was many of my family members favorite verse. They all had a picture of that on the wall and beside it was the (1) set of footprints in the sand. It just gives me chills to remember the people I loved who were so lit on fire for God, and they were not ashamed to have reminders for all to see!!
