I chose to marry my wife, it was not God's choice. I should not have married her seeing she was no a believer. She became a believer and we've been happily married for over 30 years. I should have consulted scripture.
Men are told to preach the word. All of it is good.
I agree. Not all are called for important work. Certainly, if you are a believer and you don't believe God can speak to your spirit directly then your usefulness is limited in the Kingdom. They can still be saved but their lives will be provincial.
Regarding this:
The Bible actually says that Someone is the judge of all spiritual things; Christ. And now, the Holy Spirit, whom He sent to us. Since the Word of God is still speaking (as we agree) we cannot conclude that all that will be said is recorded in the Bible.
Sola Scriptura (or "scripture alone") was promoted by Luther, a Roman Catholic priest, during the Reformation. It was used to negate the authority of the Roman Catholic Church. To be sure, the Roman church teachings were wrong, but Sols Scriptura threw the baby out with the bathwater: the scriptural record of God leading people personally from the OT throughout the NT. It's amusing that most who cite Sola Scriptura as a standard by which everything of God should be measured are mostly Evangelical Protestants. Rejecting direct revelation from God cements one's maturity in infancy, disqualifying them from leadership in the Kingdom. It also gives rise to works-based doctrine: giving credit to the good ideas for their personal gain.

The Bible is complete, but that doesn’t mean God stopped speaking. He has much to say to us *as individuals*. That’s where many Christians go wrong; they assume that the Bible contains all that God has to say, period, end of discussion. They are missing out.

I think he means that God may have individual instructions for each of us that don't contradict what the Bible says.
You won't get guidance for living by looking up Bible verses. There are two words in Greek for "word". One is Logos, the other is Rhema. Logos can be likened to an armoury, where every weapon is stored. Rhema is like a specific weapon in the armory that is chosen for a particular purpose. Lord Jesus is the "Logos". He is the all in all of the universe, the complete knowledge of everything there is to know. "Rhema" is God's word in a particular situation or a need. For example, some time ago, my usual way home was flooded. Cars were going into the flood waters, vainly attempting to get through. The Spirit told me to go a different way. I saved at least an hour compared with a friend of mine who braved the flood waters. My way home was further but quicker.
You won't find that instruction in the Bible. There are countless more examples that every believer can give, if indeed they are led by the Spirit.

A few years ago, I had a question. I asked God several times why He did not kill Adam and Eve and start again with another couple. One evening, God replied to my question. He said the He did kill Adam and Eve and start again. The cross terminates the race of Adam. The cross is like Noah's flood that physically killed all except Noah and his family. Lord Jesus is the Last Adam. He is the Last Adam because He fulfilled God's will perfectly.
If we will accept Christ, we will be included in His death and also His resurrection. Lord Jesus is like the ark (as in the days of Noah.........) If we hide ourselves in Him, we will be saved from the coming judgement.
What the Lord shows us by revelation will not contradict His word. But often it will give us understanding and insight that just reading the verses does not do.
Yes, at the moment A&E chose not to seek GW about the devil's lie, they died spiritually, which every human soul before and after Christ except Jesus continued to do, but by faith through "seeking grace" sinners may learn GW/the Gospel and justly be forgiven because of their spiritual union with the righteousness of Christ.
I personally think encounters are kind of "for us" and between that person and God. I personally testify often of what God has done and is doing in my life, but I also do feel I have had a very personal encounter with God after I was born again that I usually don't share and never use to teach anything or make any arguments using. It was a very powerful and personal experience, but not one I could use to teach anything with or do any justice trying to explain. I'll try my best, but it will fall pathetically short.
I was just listening to a powerful message about the real price Jesus paid on the cross, I was all alone not very long after I was born-again, and just became overwhelmed to the point of putting my face to the floor, I felt like He was standing over me but I couldn't even take a peek up, I didn't dare because of my unclean unworthiness, face down, eye's streaming tears but squeezed shut as hard as I could squeeze them knowing how evil I was and the best way to describe it was I was being crushed by His righteousness.(it was awesome though, but just made how sinful I was hyper apparent) He didn't say anything or touch me, heck I don't even know what exactly happened that day, but that is something I'll never forget, but also really don't believe it was for anyone but me on that day.

You're right, He can. He can and frequently does also speak directly to people outside of Scripture. It's not a question of need; it's a question of His sovereign choice to continue speaking. I'm not going to attempt to muzzle Him whether by bad hermeneutics or prejudicial treatment of the subject.

That's not what Peter said, and certainly not what he implied. Try again.
I was just thinking about Adam and Eve too this week.The fall had to have been predestined otherwise how can a seed fall to the ground and die before it bares much fruit?.Man was told to be fruitful and multiply on the 6th day,the same day he was created.
6 falls short of 7.The number 7 means a lot of things like completeness, fullness,and rest.
The tree of knowledge of good and evil, and the tree of life represent God's covenants.When scripture says Jesus was hung on a tree it's a reference to the tree of life.The life is in the blood.Jesus was 'hung' on the tree of life.
And it all makes sense because he reconcile all things unto himself through the blood of his cross.Even the sword which guards the way to the tree of life represents the Word of God.
One other thing about the garden is that it is liken to the temple court.That's something to think about in itself.
I like viewing the sword as representing GW/HS, but I think Eden = heaven,
knowledge of good and evil = moral conscience, and the tree of life = the Gospel of JC.
