So... anyone who asks you a question about your personal interpretation of scripture is a drunk?

They're the ones arguing FOR drinking the booze, so if the booze bottle fits! laughing.gif




Sad how legalism and religiosity can creep in when we desire to serve Him in our way and not His way in obedience.

Sad how some claim the Lord commands His people to get drunk on the booze.

They are referring to the wrong "god".... the "god of this world" which is the devil and not Jesus

You need to talk to the people claiming to be Christians getting intoxicated claiming it's not sinful.

They'll be able to twist scripture to make it look like it's OK to drink the devil's nectar and smoke his lettuce.... and they'll claim it's OK to engage in devil worship on halloween too clueless-doh.gif

@HigherGospel We'll see on judgment day if our deeds amount to how you judge them.
You should study God's Word and accept what He says has already been judged as UN-acceptable to Him and then don't do them.

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in

Those that disregard or otherwise attempt to explain away God's warnings.... written to Christians.... do so at their own peril
 
The devil has tricked the OSAS peoples in to believing one can do things God has said are UN-acceptable to Him and they think they are still saved.

Their minds have been blinded from the Truth of God's Word leading them to think obedience and submitting oneself to the Lord is trying to earn salvation not knowing the purpose of man's existence is to walk in agreement with the Lord.... so OSAS peoples have tricked by the devil to walk in agreement with satan which is evident by the false doctrine that do espouse.

It's very sad indeed concerning the fate of those teaching and following false doctrine... it's a real shame.

Intoxication, bad. Nobody is supporting intoxication, or at least very little do. Last time I checked almost nobody was, but maybe things have changed.

Alcohol, good Ecclesiastes 9:7, Psalm 104:15,Amos 9:14 . God made it for a reason and has given it to his people for medicinal purposes
1 Timothy 5:23, and for responsible drinking. Even Jesus drank wine Matthew 26:29

Now I don't drink often, but when I do I can assure that I don't drink enough to where I start making foolish decisions. I used to, before I was a Christian, not anymore. I can even cook while drinking just fine.


I am of the opinion that everyone handles alcohol different, some should abstain all together while others can have a bit more without loosing their self control and manifesting bad fruits due to drunkenness

It is also worth noting that addiction is bad and that we shouldn't be ruled by anything.

As for Halloween, I will be handing out candy to the neighborhood kids and complimenting them on their beautiful costumes. I do not see anything satanic in that. Most people do not worship the devil during these holidays, they thank God for them and use them to uplift others. If I dress up I will be something Holy and modest, not a Devil or Ghost or anything sexy, though some's conscious may permit them to dress a little more on the dark side.

Part of me just suspects that you are a troll, though I cant say this is true to be certain and I am sorry If i am wrong.
 
Since this thread has long since degraded from discussion about something that marginally fit into being "news" into a ridiculous debate over alcohol which clearly is not even close to being news, it is closed.
