I do agree with you on the symbols and imagery riddled through, the book of Revelation.
Revelation 1:12-17
Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And after turning I saw seven golden lampstands; and in the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and wrapped around the chest with a golden sash. His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like burnished bronze when it has been heated to a glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters. In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength. When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man.
Ezekiel 1:26-28
Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man. Then I noticed from the appearance of His waist and upward something like gleaming metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him. Like the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.
Daniel 10:5-6
I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man dressed in linen, whose waist had a belt of pure gold of Uphaz. His body also was like topaz, his face had the appearance of lightning, his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and feet like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.
Looks like the same fellow mentioned throughout the scripture makes an appearance in Revelation.
Before being born again.. it frightened me. Now it is a relief to know how it all ends.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if some so-called Christian is worshipping Allah they aren't worshipping the Christian God. Allah is a distant tyrant who you can never be sure if you're pleasing him or not. You have to try and earn his favor. The Christian god is our loving heavenly Father. He sent His only begotten Son to save us because of his great love. We could never earn His favor so He made the way for us to have His favor in Christ Jesus.
No. It is an example of ancient Apocalyptic literature, common at the time. There were many. It is interesting as it gives a little taste of the chaos in Rome during 69 CE, but apart from some interest to researchers of ancient documents, it is irrelevant.
Go and learn what these scriptures mean:
"Where is the wise [that is, the egghead]? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 1 Corinthians 1:20
"For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise." 1 Corinthians 1:26-27
Sadly, it appears you are presenting a different Gospel than the Gospel of Jesus. I would warn you that doing so is against the Rules of the Forum. Just FYI....
I see no justifiable way those who believe what you posted above can call themselves Christian............
I spend over 30 years as an Evangelical, and finally left because it had grown to bizarre for me. At one time I thought I would be in the ministry. Fine, by your definition, I am not Christian any more. I submit to the judgement of God.
While there is a clear and distinctly opposing difference between the God of the Christians and the god of Islam, the word Allah is an Arabic word meaning "God", as such every Arabic speaking Christian as well as the Arabic language Bible has the word Allah where the English language Bibles have the word God.
It's just Arabic.
Confusing...........what is the difference in Christian and following God's commandment....(submit to the judgment of God)?

Scared? Not really. More along the lines of sadness.
Revelations is a book of prophesy....meaning it's bad news. Prophesy always discusses wars, plagues, famines and etc.
And this book is especially coded so that the plain meanings are hidden from the Roman's and most of the jews. It wasn't written to the nominal Christian....only the most dedicated. Those who know nothing consider it to be ramblings.
But I see God working as diligently as possible to save mankind while mankind is desperately trying to destroy itself.
The End is inevitable. There's no stopping it. The best we can hope for is to assist our small corner to get through.
Eventually they will come for us...
The bad actors are all on stage...waiting for their cue to act. The trigger is so stupidly simple hardly anyone will notice. But when it comes....RUN like Forest Gump and don't stop. I've asked God for help....dunno what his answer will be.
His call....I'm just His slave. But because I'm his I'll ultimately be just fine. In the meantime it's gonna hurt watching those I care about get sucked into the abyss. They know better but they won't do better. They have been so severely warned but they seem to either not care or believe. Dunno....

At least you are honest. BTW: ALL PEOPLES will submit to Gods judgement, willingly or not. That is just the way it is.

Most of what we see is the new age religion influenced, being led astray ....big time.
Another large group is from just plane ignorance of God's word. I doubt we will see much change and can expect further decline in moral values.

It used to frighten me before I yielded to Jesus, but now it gives me excitement and joy. It is in revelation that I find my favorite verse...
Revelation 3:20
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

It is good to remember that Jesus has not appointed us to the wrath which He shall pour out on the wicked in the Day of His Wrath upon the enemies and persecutors of His people.

I helped me to start with chapters 19,20,21 (at the end.) These pertain more to us as God's children. The scary parts have much to do with those who were left behind because they rejected Jesus. We will be in Heaven with Jesus when the bad stuff happens down on Earth.
