I've heard that they do but haven't read it in the Bible. Unless Job, trying to hide from God because he was afraid to do something God told him to do and then eventually was in the belly of a big fish for 3 days. I found that a little funny but more because he was trying to hide from God. You cannot hide from God.

Or in nature, the Sloth for example is pretty hilarious to me. How can he survive as slow as he is? But he does. Also, he spends a lot of his time hanging upside down in trees. I think he is adorable. Is that considered God's humor?

Thanks and please share.

I have heard him laugh before so yes I think he does have a sense of humor after all all good things have to come from somewhere right?

From what I read in scripture, I would have to say that neither God nor Jesus have a sense of humor. I could give several scriptural examples to support my belief, but I will not at this time. And this is coming from someone (me) who has often gotten into trouble due to my own sense of humor which I have slowly been working out of my own life.

God either has a sense of humor or no sense: He created humanity (us :^) didn't He?

Lord Jesus used humour. Elijah likewise mocked the priests of Baal. Have you seen a Platypus? Explorers in Australia caught and killed one, and sent it back to England. At first, the English thought it was a practical joke.

Lord Jesus used humour.
Where?

To my knowledge, there are only three places in scripture where the Lord/LORD is depicted as laughing, and here they are.

Psa 2:4
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

In context, the Lord was derisively laughing at those who conspired together to crucify Jesus. No humor here.

Psa 37:12
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
Psa 37:13
The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Once again, the Lord is depicted as derisively laughing at the actions of the wicked. No humor here.

Psa 59:8
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

Yet again, derisive laughter. No humor here.

During his incarnation, Jesus repeatedly said that he only spoke what he heard his Father speaking.

Does anybody here truly believe that God the Father was Jesus' joke writer?

Let us not kid ourselves.

Well, I have a simple question for those who believe that God has no sense of humour:

From where did it come, if not from Him? Are we made in His image or not?

What denotes a sense of humor? It's relative, is it not? What things humor God? Is it found in scripture?

Jesus talking back to the Pharisees is humorous to me, especially with the Pharisees being dumbfounded. However, this may not count as humor based on its definition.

he finds us humorous at least this is how it happened to me when I heard him laugh he really does have a very fatherly nature to him and we are like little children to him so our quirks can make him laugh. for me I said to him in a dead serious tone I need to become just like you and then I thought to myself wait I hope he knows I am not trying to be rude and then that is when he laughed because of course he knew that he knows everything
he has a very hearty laugh a little deep sounding
