Loss of fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Various troubles and trials and difficult circumstances designed to change you and bring you to repentance. Sickness and/or death.Concerning a believer and sin
What is the practical application of chastisment in a believer.?
It's akin to how an Israelite was 'cut off' for various sins.
It seems many Christians don't experience any closeness and intimacy with God to even know the difference between living in fellowship with God and living out of fellowship with God.
The believer loses salvation when they choose to stop trusting in Christ and they resist all attempts by God to come back to their senses and God turns them over to that decision. At what point in the process did they lose salvation if GOD ONLY WHIPS CHILDREN?
