Boy howdy is this thread title a loaded question.
What is the honest answer?
It seems everyone is throwing out medical advice these days.
Everyone gives out mental health advice too.
But what price are people willing to pay for health?
Just as an EXAMPLE ONLY....knee surgery. Knee replacement is fairly straightforward and easy these days. 9 months of healing, rehab and lots of money, you are back at it.
Nowhere near the risk and low success rates of ankle replacement surgery.
But some people would rather endure the injections and pain....
The cost of being down for 9 months is too much.
Junkies and alcoholics also face something similar...the cure for them is worse that the disease
