Jesus loves everybody but he asks us to sin no more. Your not helping her by telling her to be proud of hers situation because it can easily lead to sin if it's not sin already.

That's not good advice and it could lead me to sin... same thing when you told her that, it could lead her to sin in her condition.

As I have argued many times (but mostly in the masturbation thread) it is only a sin if you let it control your life. So if you are an alcoholic drinking is a sin since it will ruin your life. If you get all obsessed with masturbation and it controls your life fully and your days are nothing but touching yourself and porn then it is a sin because you let it control your life.

If you are not an alcoholic of course it is not sinful to drink a wine or a beer.

But I do not really think that this is even close to this subject. This is about if she wants to live her life with someone of her own gender or the opposite gender. No matter what gender she chose (as long as it is a loving and caring person) her life will not be filled with more sin than any others.

I understand exactly where your coming from.. I've heard of people saying tolerance to homosexuals.

Tolerance for homosexuals, being loving to them and accepting them to church... thats cool Also

We shouldn't promote and tolerate the IDEAS, like lying, theft, murder AND Homosexuality. You read the verses. Now who are you going to trust, God? or those people that say it's ok... those people that say it's not sin.

Christian. Definition. Being bought by the blood of Jesus Christ. Following Him. Christians aren't perfect and we aren't going to say the greatest of things at times. That's just how it is.

I'm sorry, but, you're being just as judgmental as the opposing team. You cannot judge if they are truly saved or not. Maybe they aren't being Christ-like, but that doesn't mean they're not Christian.

And once again...that's OLD TESTAMENT. You aren't gonna get stoned for being gay today. And that WAS a law that God Himself established. If you have an issue with it, take it up with HIM. But you don't need to since it's not in use anymore.

It IS a sin to be lesbian.

BUT, having sex before marriage with the opposite gender is just as bad. And those who do both need to repent.

But I get your reasoning and it actually backfires, proving homosexuality is choice. For starters people have changed.... homosexuals have become straight.. with counseling and prayer. Can we counsel and pray your hair to change color? How about your skin color? color of your eyes? Nope cause that genetic and not something in Gods will to change (prayer is done in Gods will) so with counsel and prayer homosexuals have changed to be straight, showing it is choice. Also it's clear in God's word that homosexuality is sin.
