Pre-tribbers are like Baal's prophets.

1 Kings 18:20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel. 21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”

But the people said nothing.

The same non-response the Baal prophets got is the same non-response that pre-tribbers will get. And that is because you all willfully ignore what the Bible says: No rapture until AFTER the great tribulation.

I've been in this same thread on maybe 3 different boards and the amillennials will not discuss scripture (unless it's a cherry picked verse for them) and when you ask a good question they freak out and start calling names and stuff. They make proclamations that they know the truth and God help you if you don't see eye to eye with them about what they believe (post trib)

For a few I thought I had accidently stepped onto a board that could speak about it without getting angry and lashing out. I guess not now. Ok, note to self, don't discuss rapture wit 2ndtimesthe charm lol.

God laid that passage from 1 Kings 18 on my heart. It fits exactly what will happen with the pre-tribbers. And Elijah also mocked them. Just like I'm mocking pre-tribbers waiting for a rapture that will never come before the great tribulation. God allows it.

I don't know why God pointed that out, but it might reach other pre-tribbers and save them from continuing to be deluded by the false pre-trib doctrine.

Pre-tribbers always paint post-tribbers in a bad light no matter what we say, but we have God and the Bible on our side on this matter. That's why post-tribbers are so chill about all the false accusations.

What? You want to argue too I see. You've missed the entire point of any of it. You see, her and I do agree on many things so it's obvious that we serve the same God. We've disagreed on one issue, one which I know well and am willing to discuss so that two things will happen that we can get to the actual truth. If I am wrong then I want to be shown that I am wrong because no matter how much arrogance your own personality has, you can certainly back up your doctrine academically so that I may receive it and understand it. Somebody sure don't want us talking about the Rapture! There's a lot of noise and not much signal. What could they be, some type of chaos bots or confusion bots sent in to derail pertinent conversation about a big event?

Let's break down the situation here. Some say the rapture will be pre trib, others say rapture wont happen until after the great trib.

Now one camp is obviously wrong, right? We can't all be right. So one camp says, it could happen tomorrow, be prepared! and the other camp (post trib) says, you're insane it's post trib!

Now if the post tribbers are right, then the pre tribbers will be the ones hanging out of the window saying, I think I see Him coming while the others are out partying! and acting like an idiot because they are watching for their Lord Wayyy before He really comes. I can live with that in heaven. Yes, I was one of the ones that was so eager for his Lord to return that he acted like a blathering idiot!

Now on the other hand, if the pre tribbers do happen by some one in a Billion chance just happen to luck out and the post tribbers will know what is going on and that, they were wrong and was left behind for it. A sad day for sure. because they were wrong, they will have to go through the great trib, the worst time on earth such as never happened before.

No post trib camp person has ever shown me what danger there is in watching and preparing for the Lord's arrival way earlier than others do. So they were so excited that they suspected it just might be early. I'm not going to lose my salvation because I expected Jesus sooner than post tribbers.

That's a scary proposition in my book. If I have to wait until the end of the tribulation to be with Jesus, then I'd prolly be so close to the Lord by then that maybe I wouldn't even have to get my head chopped off!

So if post trib is true, does He go to the earth first and land at the Mt of Olives and take care of His business there, and then go back up into the air to receive His Bride? Or do we meet him in the air first and then come down to the earth with Him?

Is there any academic post tribbers here today that could give me a reasonable answer to that question? Because trying to understand the post trib view means reconciling those verses, so it's important.

If you're prayed thru & see the tribulation happen first, then what's the problem?
I would be able to admit it & go my way. But it seems all they want to do is argue without scriptures.
But no one can explain how/why the righteous goes thru the same 7 years that the fallen away go thru as their judgment.

So it sounds good to you and you choose to believe it and stand up for that view rather than research it for yourself. So I don't think you know what you're talking about with the rapture.

And then, you, being a female, of course you have zero accountability (who has ever been able to tell a woman she made a mistake?! when I started walking with the Lord again, that's the first thing He started teaching me about! This Earth is God's University of Brotherly Love. Think of the two greatest commandments. Love God with all our might spirit mind and strength, and, Love our Brothers & Sisters as ourself...

What does that mean to you? "as yourself" is easy. It's the way that you would want to be treated if you needed help. If someone asks you for help, do for them what you would want them to do for you if the shoe was on the other foot. You with me? Does that make sense?

That's basic, treat others like you want them to treat you. Now this don't always have to be about borrowing money (Lol) but in how we speak to each other. If you are casually dealing out hostility to anyone then that must be how you want to be treated? (Doubtful!).

Look, God said in scripture The power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21), and it doesn't matter if your on a keyboard because the mouth speaks and the fingers type according to the heart and what it is thinking. Man speaks from the abundance of His heart. I like the way the NLT puts it:

So want to keep more love in our heart than hatred. SO we can more fully realize God's commandments in our lives. The Lord created the earth by the spoken word. We were created in His image and likeness, and he told us our words have the power of life and death, right? so that means that every word we speak is either a blessing or a curse. You speak positive or you speak negative and, what you sow you reap. Even Jesus taught us in scripture to bless our enemies and not curse them.

I didnt get that at first but it's really a warning. Because what it amounts to is, what we speak affects our heart. So when we curse people we actually cause spiritual damage to our heart. It plants a seed of bitterness in our heart. If left unchecked it turns into a root of bitterness.

I am learning how to restrain my mouth! I will be better today than I was yesterday. when you stop being better, you stop being good. Positive thought and speech is all covered in scripture

Here, since you don't like the way I talk and I agree I'm not eloquent all the time, so here is a man who is more eloquent than I and He does a very good job of explaining the pre trib rapture truth and he does it all with scripture so get your bible and pen & paper and just watch it and consider his words. Take notes to compare to your post trib doctrine.
