Charisma is essential for con men. It's why "con" is short for "confidence"; in order to get the mark to do what you want, you first have to gain their confidence. That's where charisma comes in.
Fortunately, Trump has been getting increasingly bizarre and confused lately, and rather than try and be more charismatic as he drops in the polls, he's doubled down on anger and hate. While that may increase his base's adoration, it turns off moderates and swing voters.

Your memes are generally lame, based on anger and racism and that's what makes them funny because you're making fun of yourselves without realizing it.
Whereas the conservatives memes have a lot of freedom to go into areas where you can't go because you find them "offensive" and most importantly you guys are a joke with the ideas that you hold and promote such as being unable to define "a woman".

Between the two of them they could not muster enough emotional and intellectual energy to keep a 5 watt light bulb glowing.
Come to think of it, @JayBird and @Susanna should bottle some of that copious snore-worthy anti-charisma they are producing and sell it as a sleep aid. But then again, such a brazen capitalist enterprise would surely infuriate their paymasters.
